Hey Kerry, first time watching you play something on acoustic guitar. I play lost of acoustic but have a hard time embellishing chords. I'm still doing my exercises to help improve my speed and strength while following your vids to bench mark my progress. Thanks for making and posting vids. Love and music from Malawi 🇲🇼
The song lessons are probably my favorite kind of content you put out, i find myself learning to play songs i didn’t even know existed just because you make a video on it

Really prefer your version, this sounds very soulful and is just in harmony and plays smoothly than some of the other covers, very good.
u have great content and play style but here's a criticism:: every time I watch it, it feels so rushed and your way of explaining is not concise. It might work in a 1-to-1 session but as an "online course" it is too chaotic. it is difficult to follow and understand. I have played for many years and what you have going on in this video is not complicated stuff but for instance, when explaining the triads you jump around, talking and playing at the same time in a very quick manner. even for me with experience found something simple yet difficult to understand. I suggest perhaps create more structure to your content and choose your words wisely, slow it down a bit and I am sure it can elevate your content. keep up the good job tho!
I agree. I’m not too advanced. Saw a little bit then had to just try to find something a bit easier to follow. But kudos to u for tryna spread some magic brother
I wish you could maybe play say maybe a 35 seconds playing of the song you're bout to do before the actual tutorial. No cap though, not trying to change the way you teach or do your thing
Although you are a great player Kerry and watching you play is awesome, the Video is kinda hard to follow big bro. For instance, the walkdown from G to E minor with the arpeggiated chord in between the E and the G. Cant tell the fingering or the picking pattern on the strings. Calling out the fingering or even showing it would help out alot. Also the strum hand, whats the strum pattern and finger picking pattern. Expanding on these concepts might help make future videos easier to follow.
