Just gonna put this here: Laptops still uses wifi and Bluetooth. Some even have cellular for data. Because of this, Airplane mode is needed because some people actually uses it on a plane.

It does seem like that lately :'D They're not gone though, I've just done a bunch in advance as Im moving house in the next week or so. Robin and Lexi are still here! they should have some up in the next day or two. I only hope those who do prefer them don't fear Ive taken over lol
Soap is actually a surfactant that allows the oils coating your hands to dissolve into the water. It's why oil floating on water sinks when you add dish washing liquid, which is a super fun experiment I recommend trying! 😊

Y’know, I worked at a place that made and printed the tubes for the face scrub at 6:20. In fact, that tube in particular was my least favorite because it was a nightmare to get the screen printing aligned on the crappy old machine I operated. I had to have stared at this thing under a magnifying glass once an hour everyday for years. Never once bothered to actually read the back of the damn thing lol
The SpongeBob one is actually just good marketing cause whenver a potential buyer types something even remotely related to sponge Bob or a slap bracelet then it will take the buyer to that item

12:01 It's actually not good for trampolines to have any sort of water near it, It damages the mesh and it rusts the springs, and when it rusts, you sometimes can't tell, it's not a good thing to have water near a trampoline, i know because i used to have one and we had to throw it away after 2 days of straight rain

7:04 this is the Sinclair C5, a vehicle produced in 1985 which had a pedalling system along with an electric motor. owning one, i can say a few things. the steering system works surprisingly well for what it looks like. as for the electric engine, you have to pedal up to a good speed before you can actually turn it on, otherwise the belt just slips. it has a relatively large storage area in the back, and a rear light. this thing was supposed to be "the future of urban transport" at the time, but it flopped miserably. all in all, i will say it is a useless vehicle, but its great fun to ride around in.
I saw one of these when cycling along the waterfront in Ipswich and stopped to have a closer look. Its owner asked if I'd like to have a go in it...Hell, yeah! Definitely fun, but probably ahead of its time.
My computer has a “Flight Mode” setting in the WiFi settings, and like.... Why is it there? It’s a 3kg chunk of plastic. It’s heavy and not at all portable
Because the manufacturer buys in the WiFi chip-set & settings software, which also gets sold to other manufacturers where the setting is useful, & it's cheaper to only have one version of the software than two where the only difference is to hide the setting when it isn't useful.
"Airplane Mode" is because it was a long held belief that WIFI, Bluetooth, GSM and other radio signals would interfere with airplane electronics, so by law any device with a Wifi, GSM, Bluetooth or other radio transmitter had to have a feature to turn of those transmitters if you wished to use those devices on the plane. For the longest time you were asked to turn of your phone on planes and it was frowned upon if you pulled out tablets, laptops or phones. With older planes this was actually somewhat true. On modern planes, you can usually just outright make calls and use the Internet. I'd say, this is almost like people asking why the "save" symbol in many applications is shaped like a floppy disk, but if you're old enough to be on the Internet, you're old enough to know what airplane mode is for. It isn't that old and hasn't been less important for that long.
13:04 That’s only a crappy design if you want to look at it like that. The way the video plays is pretty clear about how it supposed to be read. Also knowing the way the sins team thinks it was probably made it like that to intentionally piss people off who would get pissed off by things like that
I live in Montana, and love visiting red lodge! Its out there by the mountains, a beautiful tiny town with rustic store streets. I've never jumped off a cliff there though, people usually save that for their last visit.
I actually encountered a fence like that once. Cheeky me, I took advantage of it and went exploring. It was just a little island with no houses on it or anything, and it was a very nice place
Yeah, there is a specific reason for it: LAPTOPS CAN USE BLUETOOTH AND WIFI, but can also end up on a plane, I am not aware of a way to get a desktop on a plane...
I dunno about anyone else, but that one that was just "Hmmm Nut" made me laugh way too much. I couldn't help but think it was God saying that before he made the universe.
13:04 Who ever did and added this have never watched Cinema Sins. Is an intro for an upload vid. The words "spoilers" and "duh..." Are black then light up after "everything wrong with" Is "Everything wrong with (title of a movie)" then "Spoliers" and shortly "Duh.."
The Cinema sins 'new' intro deserves to be on here. It's needlessly complicated and confusing to look at, especially compared to the old intro. Not to mention the way the words pop up on the screen makes the intro longer, which is ironic since Cinema Sins always complains about long logo intros in movies.
2:07 You are aware that airplane mode in laptops is quite common, since there are variants that support 4G or 5G internet connections which you aren't allowed to use on an airplane. This also turns off WiFi but I don't know tje reason for that

Duh.." I mean yeah, it's still pretty bad design, but it's a little better when you actually watch the intro.
That button still has a function given that airplane mode on phones turns off WiFi as well and some notebooks have or are prepared for built-in modems for UMTS/LTE/5G. Also this crappy design is probably pointing out that the F1-F12 keys are smaller than the symbols which would indicate that they are SECONDARY to the symbols.

7:23, the reason there's all that "Other" is an issue with the iOS 14 Public Beta. It's quite dumb that they haven't fixed it though, as it's been around since the first developer beta
