I thought all fruit cups are like this. I know some jello cups are like this too. The key is to not tear the whole thing off at once. Just lift the edge a little and start sucking out the juices. Then when you see the liquid level inside the cup drop below the edge line, you can open the lids completely and voila, enjoy.
