This is a wonderful interview. It seems so friendly, and the interviewer sounded like she was genuinely interested. Very genuine on both sides. #VivaPeterBuck

Sue Simmons! She was my favorite! Channel 5 in New York.

Nice interview with two trailblazers: Sue Simmons was the first African American woman to co-anchor a nightly NY news broadcast. Interesting how she is "the establishment" here. I was at that show the following night at Shea, and although they didn't play Wolves, it was so cool how they played two other songs from that first EP, the revolutionary Chronic Town. I would characterize the audience reaction as polite but indifferent. Also it was raining.

Sue Simmons was a NYC institution; nice to see them together.

"...here's a clip of one of the songs they'll no doubt be performing." According to the R.E.M. concert timeline, they did not play Wolves, Lower opening for the Police that next night. Also notice how they both don't seem too thrilled when being introduced after the video clip. The band was never happy with that music video.

*Gee that Stipe is a disgustingly and anonyomously enigmatic individual*
