I couldn't agree more. I really don't know why they've never released this. Maybe they are saving it for the boxset or some other Murmurs Demos package. But still, it's a really great song.

This man trilogies

Per Peter Buck in DLO's liner notes, he and the band got tired of "Burning Down", and at that time took a piece of the song, and created "Ages Of You" out of it. They got tired of "Ages", also. Perhaps they got tired of "That Beat", or they felt it didn't fit on "Murmur" or "Reckoning". I agree it would have been great on "DLO" or "Eponymous". But it actually deserved to be on "Murmur" or "Reckoning". I can easily picture it on the 1982 "Chronic Town" EP also.

Hey--thanks for this. I'm shocked this doesn't have more views as it's really head and shoulders above the original demo. A little reverb went a long way! I basically consider this a studio release now, lol. Thanks again.
