Ey we are the council and why are you trying to hit this tree with this Boulder? Karen told me to go sleep in the doghouse, but there is none, and she told me to build one, but there’s nothing to build with, she pointed to this tree, I didn’t have an axe, and it was owned by you, but she forced me to chop down the tree anyway. Council: ok, Ey Karen this tree is owned by us, and you can’t force this kid to chop it down Karen: NOT MY PROBLEM Council: well, your the one trying to force this kid to chop down the tree, so technically it is your problem.
Reminds me of the Yugioh Abridged Series scene about "Mokuba, make sure Wheeler is late". I'd quote it, but frankly it's less of an inside joke if I just tell people to go look it up if they're interested.
The boat story is so friggin cute! Seeing a parent have so much compassion for a vacation and getting their kids into it is sounds so fun. 10/10 parenting.
I’m shocked to hear that the mom wasn’t a Karen and was an actual parent (I don’t blame her for taking medication before but could’ve waited till they were about to board so they wouldn’t feel that tired) and that the kids were well behaved with OP.
I get that he's irresponsible, but I can't fault his logic. They're on a plane, so there wasn't a chance for OP to dash off with the kids. Also, it wasn't like he didn't know where they were. I'm a little peeved because the kids turned out to be well behaved but I guess the guy's wife had a talking with him lol.
That 1st one is WAAAAY longer. She shows up at 2 more ports. calls the cops on OP for theft of his own boat all ending up with her being arrested for assault of OP and child endangerment
My favorite part about these newer entitled parents stories is that, since Rslash is a father now, he gets SUPER mad at the dumb parents who put their kids in possible danger.
Get a new lock for the gate and and security camera overlooking the pool and back yard. If that entitles mom lets her kids just climb the fence or something and swim unsupervised, OP could be held liable. God forbid one of those kids drowns due to her negligence and then pins it on OP. If there no footage or witnesses, she could claim that OP gave permission and promised to watch them. Then it’s a “he-said-she-said”situation. Drowning isn’t like the movies. It’s silent. You can’t scream when water is rushing into your lungs.
He should pay a lawyer to send her a notarized/certified letter telling her they do not have permission to be on his property or use the pool. Also he needs to look up the city codes to make sure the fence meets the requirements. This way there’s proof they didn’t have permission and OP did his due diligence to keep people out. So if she boosts the kid over the fence, OP can sue.
I’ve once heard a story from one of these Reddit story tellers where a Karen’s kids did the exact same thing. They invaded op’s property at night, skinny dipped and also drank alcohol when they’re still minors.
Never ever let kids in the neighborhood use your pool! You are setting yourself up for headaches of screaming kids in your pool all the time. Also drowning, just because the kid can swim doesn’t mean accidents won’t happen. You could lose everything you ever owned. Lock that fence tight and a camera aimed at the pool.
regarding the last story, as a wise man who' s always right once said: "a super computer, calculating for over a thousand years, could not even approach the number of f*cks i don't give about your kid"
Me: has electronic device Karen: "hippity hoppety, this shall be my property!" Me: Cool, I was hoping I wouldn't need to hunt down a suitable test subject so I can try out my new Cattle Prod Karen: ... Me: Hmmmmmmmmmm, I see it's putting out the right Wattage, but the Voltage is still far, far to low... Karen: ... Me: Now the Voltage is right...OK, now to find the rest of the Local Karens... Me: Here Karen, Karen, Karen...I have some nice new Electronics for you Karen, where are you? I have Treats!!! 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Im just glad that it had a happy ending of the mother being super concerned, and was able to help ease the situation with OP. Also the two kids seem like absolutely amazing people to sit next to on a plane. Like, whole ass decided "yeah OP wants a snack and drink lets get them something". And the dad being explained to (which shouldn't have to happen) that he messed up there big time.
On what planet is passing out high af on a plane with your kids "good parenting"? "It's for my anxiety" is a bs excuse, especially if you have children in your care.
I was so excited when I flew on a plane (Only time I've done so as an adult). I was sitting in a row next to 3 kids flying alone and the oldest was 10. I was reading a book I planned on giving my 9 y/o cousin. I ended up talking to the kids and I found out the oldest one likes to read so I ended up giving her the book. She was so excited and when we landed I told their grandpa, who was waiting for them at the gate, what wonderful grandkids he had. Such a cool flying experience.
Karen: "I dont understand why you cant just sit there and watch them!" Me: .....i dont understand why YOU cant just sit there and watch them?? It goes both ways????"
My mom is only a Karen when it's necessary, like her food isn't properly cooked or she doesn't get something with her food, she's polite but when the waiter leaves she starts complaining about them. I usually try to stand up for the server because they deal with worse than my mom's particular tastes and my mom is directing her anger in the wrong direction.
This is the second time I've seen this story, and I still can't figure out how (or even if) Karen really thought she had reserved OP's craft. If she had tried to, I'd love to have listened to her conversation with her rental company. At the minimum, assuming the company even entertained the possibility of switching craft at a third-party marina, they would have required some positive identification for the new craft. What did Karen tell them that advanced the conversation in the least? Unfortunately for us, half the story here is hidden in the mists of time.
Been having a bad day and this is definitely what i needed. Hope everyone else has a great day ahead and if its the evening where you live, hope you get a good night's rest!
I'll be honest, I started watching your videos a couple of years ago because I overheard my little brother watching them, and at first it was out of concern. Most of the stories seemed to be entitled moms, and I was worried about what kind of messages they might be sending to him about "ladies are emotional/crazy!" or something. I watched the videos with him instead of making a snap judgement, and I'm glad I did. You're not sexist, and these are stories about entitled people, not just women. Now I enjoy your videos even if I'm not watching them with my little brother, lol.
Oh dear God, there is SOOO much more to that first story that could fill a video by itself. You really need to follow the entire thread, because the entire story is hilarious.
9:20 I would like to say that the kids in this story are not bad kids, just hyperactive. I have ADHD, so I was a CRAZY kid. It’s very sweet that OP was so kind. I feel like if they were seriously bad kids they wouldn’t have offered cookies or said “Have a good nap”. My guess is that they just have a lot of energy.
Holy cow that Airport story tho. I am convinced that those kids turned out being good kids is because of the mom. I can only imagine the conversation that woman had with her husband.
"id be sleeping in the doghouse, and we dont even have a doghouse" can you imagine r/slash just laying in the grass with just a pillow and a lil blanket
Finally! Somebody who claps back at a Karen.. awesome, thanks rSlash. I can't understand EP's way of thinking, mind boggling. Cool, you're a parent. It doesn't mean everyone else has to help you care, entertain or put you first, for your kids. Kindness goes a long way 👍
I have kids, no pool, and neighbors with kids and a pool. I can’t even IMAGINE the audacity of “inviting” my kids over to someone’s house AND TELLING them to watch them!! When my kids DO get invited I always check with the parents about if they want me to come watch or not. I don’t know if it balances perfectly but we try to be sure that we invite all the neighbor kids over here to play every time they’re invited over there. While we don’t have a pool we have different things to do and heck they’re out now playing some game just involving circling around an empty garbage can… kids lol
Those kids on the plane were really sweet. Not disturbing OP's nap, getting OP snacks and a drink while they were asleep, and then giving OP the heart at the end. OP won the child dumping lottery with those two.
0:05 - Titular story - Sailing Karen demands her docking costs for boating to be cut, tells OP to give her his boat, and falls off the boat trying to stop OP from leaving the marina - apparently just *one* post in a four-part saga 6:58 - Plane Darren leaves his sons in the care of OP, a stranger, on the plane - it ends well 11:31 - Neighbouring Pool Karen guilt-trips OP about letting her kids use their pool and demands that they watch her kids for her 13:21 - Plane Karen demands OP to cater to her 7yo son's entertainment needs
No, no it's not. Do you not know what stranger danger is?! It's not " never trust anyone outside the family or ask for help" it's " don't go into a white van when a man offers you candy". Seriously what is wrong with you? Do you WANT kids to be kidnapped or assaulted?!
@@RiveroftheWither what's wrong with you? Are you aware that in most cases of assault the predator was someone close and not a stranger? Teach kids to come to you when a stranger asks them to go somewhere together. Teach kids to tell you when someone is doing something that makes them uncomfortable. Do YOU want kid to be kidnapped and assaulted because of your ignorance?
HMS Karen story: you left out the best part of that story! The Karen imagined that she had rented OP’s boat. She got whatever coast guard was involved to help her find the “stolen” boat. Since OP had foolishly told her where he was headed, he had to explain the story to the harbor master at the second stop, and prove that he owns the boat.” Of course, Karen tantrums were involved.
I hope we get to see baby and puppy bloopers but also he should look into getting Lily floating classes so incase she’s some how ever around a body of water that she falls into she can know what to do and that’s float! A lot of parents start that class at 6 months.
The sea story is gold! I have sailed in the Mediterranean a couple of times and it is one of the best types of holidays you can have! Fortunately we did not meet any insane Karens!
oh thats not going to change, she will get used to it. the difficult part comes when its time for her to leave home. it is hard to find the balance. they are adults but you still want to protect and help them.
"I called the rental company and chartered that boat, because *all* boats are owned by the company. Now hand it over!" My response? "This paper I have here says it belongs to me, so your rental company must be rent to own or something, sorry!" She just wanted that boat cause it was already set to leave, she didn't want to have to do the work xD
Omg I'm so early!! Love you Rslash!! Thank you for blessing us with these videos. They always make my day. The second I wake up I check your channel to see if there's a new video out. I always drink my coffee while watching your videos. It helps me keep up with my routines :)
That did actually happen in a story once. And the mother just went back to normal as if nothi happened, leaving her child to die thanks to her evil barbaric actions. The kid called the cops and the hospital, and the mothers delusional ass got sent to prison.
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 I actually read the story I mentioned before. Just tried predicting. Also that karen's son went no contact with her and as of now is in mental hospital
