The great, versatile and legendary American actress, Piper Laurie, sadly passed away at age 91, on October 14th, 2023. She had one of the most interesting and unusual careers in Hollywood. Known, loved and celebrated actress who is famous for her Academy Award nominated performances in "The Hustler" (1961), "Carrie" (1976), "Children Of A Lesser God) (1986) and her Golden Globe winning performance in David Lynch´s cult-series "Twin Peaks" (1989-1992). She is also an Emmy-winner and had a great theatrical career as well.
In this more recent interview, the most in-depth one Ms. Laurie ever did, with investigative reporter, Lucas Alexander, she reveals that she was raped and secrets about how her mother put her in a room with Howard Hughes for half an hour, the MeToo Movement, working with Harvey Weinstein and the Hollwood casting couch and how "women haven´t learned to say NO"!
Piper Laurie will be missed dearly, but her wonderful and amazing work, lives on!
