I've played the piano since I was an 8 year old child and by ear , I still play and in the early 80's this song memories of green is a song I play often in solitude. It brings me to a place where I feel feel a redemption of sort. Lots of love here. And Rachel is so beautiful making the song so memorable.

In this scene - Rachel at Deckard's piano - Sean Young looks as fine and lovely as a woman can possibly appear. Her dark eyes and the symmetry of her perfect features are overwhelming, too much beauty to be encompassed in one gaze, sparsely lit yet blinding.

This is beautifully composed music that captures the spirit of Vangelis' Blade Runner soundtrack. Which probably has to be one of the best soundtracks ever written for a film.

0 seconds ago I had to stop for a sleep having driven hours around the Scottish Higglands, put Blade runner theme music on ,, woke up some time later just as the light was fading ,heavy rain pouring down , the mountains were topped with white mist and I heard this beautiful piece playing,, still dreaming ,for a minute I was driving away in the car at the end of the movie , what a shame Racheal wasn't sitting next to me, ,, we can dream right, thank you for this heavenly masterpiece.x

As I eat, I let my thoughts drift, pondering the meaning of my lonely existence in this world of machines. very interesting scene to see, music is nice and calm, city is sleeping along with its citizens, everything is silent, cold and dark...only rain keeps dancing and cheerfully sliding across the windows, roofs, lost shoes and forgotten memories...as rain keeps falling memories rise again like fallen knights on an ancient battlefield...memories come back to us, step by step, because when its raining for too long we have nothing else to turn to...

Fantastic. Always loved this song and film. For almost 20 years after the movie came out, there was the one version of this soundtrack before the Vangelis version was released on CD unless you were able to get one of those bootlegs (which I was never able to find as it was really hard pre(or early)-internet). Just came across this channel and a couple others with BR inspired thematic music.

First watched Blade Runner as a kid when it first came out but now I fell in love with it all over again and with the fabulous music by Vangelis. Pure genius, he just knew how to set the scene with his ethereal music. Thank you for sharing this. I just can't stop listening since I found your page recently.

Thank you for paying your respects to my compatriot Vangelis. The legend... I still remember the day he passed away. It was all over the news here in Greece. This is the song that made me find your channel some days ago and I have been hooked to your work since. Once again you remade this one giving a unique touch which sounds very well made. I happen to be going through a breakup this past month and I'm also in need of some drastic changes in my life right now which further up my anxiety, and your creations have helped me relax so much this past week. I slept with them. I enjoyed calm nights with them, and I even listened to them last evening on the beach before a new date I had. Thank you!
