Lemme fix that one post: Single people take longer hotter showers because they don't have to worry about someone else using up or needing the hot water.
"What glass?" - The Nihilist "What water?" - Nestle Also if we're doin' TF2 gags, here ya go "It costs 200,000 dollars to drink this glass, for 12 seconds" - The Heavy "Drinkin's a good job mate, I guarentee you'll never go thirsty." - Sniper "If that ain't scrumpy I'm blastin' your dumpy." - The Demoman " *somehow lights water on fire* " - The Pyro "That was not water~.." - The Medic "That water is a spy!" - The Spy "I.. Drink.. Your.. Water.. I DRINK IT ALL!" - The Scout "I do not trust your commie water, I DRINK AMERICAN WATER (beer)." - Soldier
@@rulerzreachf4n34 Kinda makes sense. Though, if Sesame Street was able to explain it after the guy playing Mr. Hooper passed, then it IS possible to explain death to kids in a way that they can understand. Hell, even Disney movies manage to do it through narrative alone. Though not all parents are even good at this, sadly, so kids are kept in the dark whenever a pet dies.
there's something intensely funny about how robin is given all the rage-inducing subreddits, but as a person with a bad habit of scrolling through comments sections and other bad places on the internet I feel a little sorry for him
I think the furry/werewolf one is supposed to show how humans tend to treat something different as if it’s a monster, whereas if a human were to be around those kinds of creatures they’d treat them kindly? Cause the kid in the second picture was originally one of the bullies; look at his clothes. I’m analyzing this way too much, but I think I’ve seen some of the artist’s works. They’re actually really good, and a lot of it makes more sense than this one.
@@ryu246 I understand that one piece of artwork being there, as it is confusing and most people find furries to be strange. I noticed it is to only piece I have found in the subreddit so far, and I think it just has to do with the anthromorphic creatures and people not understanding fully what it means.
It means that normal people just hate the furry for being who they are and abuse them, while furries dont do that, the only exception being genuinely bad people that you should be hating
regarding the, uh, tongue puppetry(?), if anyone did either i don't think people would be impressed, they'd be legitimately horrified at the mutations that have gone on in your body and probably call for an ambulance
1:10 the artist’s art is completely up to interpretation , the interpretation i get from it is to not poke fun at culturally different groups ( i.e. minorities ) because more often than not , those groups would treat others well . idk im bullshitting , the artist does genuinely make meaningful art though
That “he was illiterate” shit was *unintentionally hilarious*, at least to me. I choked on my coffee when I read it. My brain also decided Avril was singing it to the tune of skater boy.
I call cap on the parent one at 4:28 My own mother was a horrible woman, and kicked me out of the house after I called her out for it. She's one of those cracked, insane Karens who just finds a way to make things about her and her alone. (At the time this is posted, I am in a motel with my cat and looking for a more permanent place to live.) I would go more into how much of a Godawful woman my mother was, but I really don't think a popular RU-vid channel's comment section is the right place to rant on and on.
1:04 for anybody curious, that image is drawn by a Japanese artist called avogado, avogado's art is usually about major issues in the world such as treatment of employees, self termination, serial killers, horrible parents, depression etc. This particular work is titled "minority" ofc it's up to interpretation but the most common interpretarion is the treatment of minorities and wherever you are, the majority will win for better or for worse
stay vigilant, keep an open mind, and refuse to fall into rabbit holes. always make your own judgements and do not be swayed by funny text on image. you can make it, we believe in you
These are all generally made by two types of people: boomers who are terrified of technology, and teens that should get some therapy because they're probably a little depressed and should be helped instead of laughed at
She was an open book, but the book describes quantum physics through the eyes of a todler while being written in old crayons that dont stick to the paper as well anymore.
She thought she was an open book, but she was also an idiot who was actually a closed book and thought winking was flirting and got mad when he ignored her.
To maintain sanity I have always assumed that at least half of these facebook-esque memes are written by bots or, at the very least, written in English by content farmers that do not speak a lick of English. There is no way that any person could write a lot of these and think that they make any kind of sense.
The Werewolf picture is a bit more simplistic than you may imagine, but the message is simple - some days you are part of the majority, and sometimes you are the minority. Reminds me of something a WWE Superstar said during his Hot Ones interview - "The toes you step on while going to the top are connected to the a**es you will have to kiss on your way down." Basically, treat others with respect. Not hard.
@A rat that has been left in the freezer because they have the right to be happy, so long as no one else is truly hurt by them. Same as everyone else. I guess not everyone can be a truly compassionate human being, though. Seems to be a stretch anymore, truthfully. Especially seeing individuals pick fights for the sole purpose of illiciting anger or negative emotions out of others.
12:23 an ex-friend of mine sent me something similar to that but with characters from a visual novel. I thought it was funny so i sent back one that instead read: The devil whispered in my ear, "You're not strong enough to withstand the storm." Today I whispered in the devil's ear, "sir this is a Wendy's". She got really mad at me
I actually was called a monster once. What was my monstrous act? I didn't let a teacher slap a cigarette out of my hand. I was 18, and we were not on school property.
@@cheese0827 yeah they were being kinda Di based tho and hit their head while they where tasseling , but yeah it was kinda time dead to the rooms atmosphere
The key is that the book has 2 separate pages. Normally, when I read a novel (yes, I know, who reads actual physical books nowadays huh?), I don't read the first line on the left page followed by the first line on the right page followed by the second line on the left page etc. But maybe that's just me.......
14:21 As an introvert, I agree with you; my range of competence is pretty narrow; and I've never researched that deeply into more than a few subjects, and with those, I've forgotten much that I used to know in the decades since then. I've still got some resources to consult if I need to though, thanks, internet.
I think the don't bully the werewolf child one is supposed to show that normal people can often be assholes to those who are different while the furry community is made up of rejects who are happy to kindly welcome others who've been rejected into their community, even if the new people they're welcoming aren't like them.
The best part about this subreddit is that if you put any of them in r/shitpost with a funny or ironic title all of a sudden it's the funniest shit ever. Says a lot about society. *aneurysm and dies of cringe*
It feels good to hear Robin actually reference something I like (in this case, Sonic Prime) instead of being dismissive of it. The rare treats are the best.
I thiiiiink that werewolf one was like kid that's bullied/marginalized/looked down on/outcast grows up and perseveres and grows stronger and more aware/empathetic to others going through similar things... I think. Which I mean.... yeah?
5:10 from a Google search I think he means that ronaldo's mom tried to abort him, he got expelled when he was 13 because he threw a chair at a teacher calling him poor, his father died when he was 20, and his son died during childbirth, But the dude is still filthy rich and we all had stuff happen to us
3:37 Btw that tattoo is a lyric from “Until It Sleeps” by METALLICA, he probably wasn’t trying to be cringy and just wanted a tattoo of his favorite song. 🤷♂️
i remember seeing stuff like this when I was 13 and swearing I would not be this when I turned 14. I did everything in my power to not end up like this. Surprisingly, it worked. I was still a stupid teen, but not a ridiculously edgy stupid teen.
Yeah, that whole post was so full of crap. No, that girl ain't hiding something because she talks little but talks fast. She's more than likely been abused by her parents and is traumatized.
0:17: I didn't come to Emkay today to get called out, thank you very much! :D 3:38: This sounds better coming out of James Hetfield and not some dude's torso. In case anyone is wondering, it's the lyrics to "Until It Sleeps" by Metallica. Excellent song, by the way. 15:43: As soon as you read that, I said "yes you are" and then you said it. If someone says "I'm not a whiner", they are whining.
11:18 Despite loving the series, I do remember thinking in one of the first two episodes "I wonder how long it will take the edgy, deep, annoying people to quote the series on the edgy outcast stuff."
13:30 I was thinking about that one, glad it got in This format is one of those unique copypastas that are sometimes posted with unironic intent but also can be shitposts
8:24 Pretty sure that one's actually satire. The art and caption say it all. That and I'm pretty sure I saw another screenshot of this tweet with someone's reply asking what it means, with the artist saying "Well, isn't it obvious?"
14:06 is basically saying something about mental age, like for example how karens acts like a 5 year old when they dont get what they want but they're like 40 years old
Some of these actually have meaning to me. The piece about minorities. The woman who suffers from emotional struggles who is toxic to the people around her because of it. The family that lies about how much they love the old woman. This "I'm 14 and this is deep" subreddit seems to be taking some sort of holier than thou-like perspective. Everyone has different experiences in life and the fact that people can relate to these pieces isn't some scourge to the earth. Even if you personally find it cringy. Is it that the pieces in question are shallow or are you only putting in a superficial amount of thought into their messages? Let people appreciate the things that mean something and resonate with them. The reason they like it could have something to do with who they are as a person and refusing to allow them expression so you can be like the cool kids who have no time for "lame" stuff like this might rob someone of being able to be themselves.
1:48 I’m pretty sure they’re lying that either they care or that she’ll get better. But the son obv doesn’t care and knows his grandmother IS GONNA DIE IN TWO SECO-
The furry one, I think it's "Others reject furries because they're different, but furries accept everyone because they're good" Which is literally viewing everything in black and white
2:19 i think 2 is the most stupid. 4 is obviously suicidal as he's looking right at what he's doing so it seems very intentional. 1 is also looking at the man cutting off his branch with a smile, meaning he either doesn't care if he dies or wants to die. Number 3 is definitely selfish, but not necessarily stupid. If anything he's the smartest because he's the only one who will survive. so that leaves number 2 who is so focused on the destruction of others that he is unaware of his own destruction.
12:23 The devil whispered in my ear "You're not strong enough to withstand the storm" I whispered back "At least I didn't lose my fiddle to a redneck kid in Georgia"
Nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world the longer you live the more you will realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality or merely pain suffering and futility -MADIRA UCHIHA
I know it isn't, but are we sure that this isn't also a quote by you, Dr. Bright? Because I could have sworn it easily could have been. What with the amulet and all?
i like how for these posts, the people who made them try to follow the rules of grammar but they end up either failing, making themselves look cringe (i hate this word) or both
12:01 Deliberately misleading presentation of these numbers; the vast majority of people do only have 1 face. Faces Georg, who lives in a cave and has 8 billion faces, is a statistical outlier and should not have been counted.
