Li xuerui really is an example. Like the commentators said, graceful in defeat. Really good sportsmanship and manners. People kinda demonized her for finding her way into the Olympics 2012, being picked over shixian who was ranked 3rd and she was 4th, but she went on to win the tournament. Well here is an example where she lost, but her attitude in defeat speaks volume and exemplary. Take nothing away, she's a remarkable player.

Actually, there are many of these WS top players who would always display great sportmanship like TTY, Okuhara, Yamaguchi, Chen Yu Fei, Michelle Li , etc. The only one I could never ever think of when I think of the word sportsmanship is Carolina Marin. LOL

Ratchanok intanon is so down to earth. I loved when she got the title of BWC 2013! I hope in 2021, she finds her actual form again after corona virus had been exterminated complety

Even at a young age this beautiful girl was a true champion those 5 straight points to end the first set while facing set point at 20-17 was remarkable. She has come from behind to win many matches since then. One of my favorite athletes. Great skills great attitude. A true champion.

I watched this video, March 2021. I don't watch or know Badminton too much but this Thai girl is definitely impressive. Especially when she did that inside China against a Chinese girl. The Chinese audience is one of the most impolite, rude, and partial groups of sports fans in the world.

i think 2013 is the year where so many good player from another country start to emerge and challenge the WS from China.Tai Tzu Ying, Ratchanok Inthanon, Carolina Marin, Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, Nozomi Okuhara, Akane Yamaguchi, Sung Ji Hyun.

Ratchanok Intanon surely is a queen of comeback. She has proven it many times even today. What a transformation for the young Thai shuttler. Today she has grown fitter, better, wiser and faster. I'm so happy knowing that Thailand today has this great name.

This match played more than 8 years ago. Very entertaining and the girls were great athletes. I can see this match played inside China and Ratchanok Intanon played against a Chinese player. The Chinese audience got to be one of the most partial groups of people in the sporting world and yet, this young Thai girl prevailed in such a hostile environment. Very, very impressive!

The first game is the best ever !! Like David and Goliath , Inthanon uses finesse and quickness/accuracy to win rallies. Unbelievable coming back from such a huge deficit to win that game is incredible. Added to the pressure is the crowd is overwhelmingly Chinese. Inthanon is able to focus at such a young age !! After the third game, the crowd was totally behind Inthanon. I think that entire arena witnessed something that would inspire the next generations. It shows that the favorite backed by big money, is not always the winner ! You can be humble and come out on top.

Good stamina? More like the worst stamina in top 10. Otherwise, she would have a much better result given her technical skill. However, her lack of stamina is her greatest downfall.
