Reminds me a bit of Slim Harpo's - baby scratch my back . That was played at the Chambers club, Rochdale very early 70's. .........always a sapper !

northern soul is a beat whatever genre or label it comes from. if you can dance to it .its northern and this is brilliant

R L Burnside , real old southern blues man. Passed away not long ago. His son was his drummer for the last part of his career. Check ✅ out his many songs. Amazing
