I live in the UK and our tap water is generally fine, but I do hear horror stories about the tap water in some parts of America. Hell, isn't it pretty much an unwritten rule not to drink the tap water when you go abroad, anyway? That's enough of a red flag to me.
Everywhere I've lived in america has trash tap water, NY, CT, FL, all so bad you need a filter to even try to drink it. Bottled water is always a safe option
The amazon packages actually have logic behind them. They put it in the one that will fit with all the other ones best. That’s why you’ll sometimes see a small item in a seemingly oversized box - it’s to fit better in a truck or container.
mildly infuriating things that happened to me while watching the video: double tapped to rewind 10 seconds, rewinds 50 seconds somehow, then tries to skip forward again, im ahead of where I started. tries to rewind ten seconds, goes back to previous video and gets an ad. tries to pause but tapping on the video was unresponsive for some reason so I had to close the app and reopen it (its a glitch that happens often only on RU-vid)
all of the tap water in florida tastes salty, which isn't as bad for ya, but i'd still go with bottled i should also mention that i don't have a (good) water filter yet
I mostly drink bottled water. Local water tastes like it came from a swimming pool. Literally. The water here has so many contaminates that they put loads of chlorine in it. There are many people who have filters, but they have to be replaced frequently.
The “fake pillar” is actually the pillar that will save the roof from falling, so when the roof breaks off the building, the pillar will catch it.... okay fine i dont know anything about this
There was an architect that was forced to pillars up so it wouldn't come down. According to his calculations it wouldn't come down if there was none so when he did integrate the pillars, he had made them just short of touching the ceiling/beam/whatever it was. So I don't know, maybe similar situation.
4:54 The lens has a protective or UV filter on it, so the lens itself should be okay. A UV or protective filter with good anti-reflective coatings does cost a bit however. As much or more than the £28 they want for the camera. *Edit:* Edited because the original timestamp was one second off.
still you should put your camera and lenses in a lens container----or at least in a sealed box with desiccant, if you do not want to see mold growing in your lenses

1:45 Actually it wasn’t even taken by their neighbors, they took it themselves and then tried making it a story out of it painting their neighbors as racists even when they aren’t. Had neighbors try pulling something similar on me by tossing their 2020 election sign into my garbage can and acting offended by seeing it in there. They live several houses down and I never go that way unless i’m going for a walk, and during 2020 I was too wrapped up with my own health issues to even leave the house.

In order for an incorrect compulsion ( aka a messy room or the things shown in this video) to cause someone with OCD anxiety, there has to be a severe consequence (most likely made up in the person with OCD’s head) if the action isn’t done or completed a specific way or perfectly. I have no consequences tied to these mildly infuriating pics. Sorry if this was wordy, just trying to educate 😊
One thing that just kinda annoys me in general is when I’m trying to buy merch from a RU-vidr and it only says the price in where they are from. I live in Canada and most of the RU-vidrs I watch live in America, so when I want to buy some merch it only shows the price in American money ($0.75 in America is equal to $1.00 in Canada) but most of the time it doesn’t say like “$60.00 US” it would just say $60.00 so idk if it’s American money or not. It’s not that big of a deal but sometimes it’s just a little annoying
I live is South Africa and most of the time they don’t ship here if they do I have a browser for dollars to Rand always open and then realize I can’t get it cuz the shipping is too high
Of course it’s a little annoying, but if everyone had to put down the price for Canadians, they would have to do it for everything else too- Most of the time, I just have to assume the prices are American, mostly because they are a big supplier of, well, everything 😂

Heads up. If you live in a mining town (grew up in a salt mine town), you know not to trust the tap water. Even if safe to drink, it usually taste awful.

@@13_cmi i have also have sonys a7 lines camera (same camera the kid is holding), a7's are not really know for their great water resistance and i can confidently say that, that camera is 100% dead. It can take light rain but even for bit heavier rain id take some water protection for my camera. And yea these aint cheap even though there are many model that look basically the same cant tell which one this is, mine is a7riii which was over 3000€ when i bought it and that is without any lens on it. And this picture makes me want to die

RE: the Amazon post... the computer literally decides the box/envelope size for you. The only time you're supposed to go against the computer's selection is if it ends up being too small for the order, because they look into every time you hit the override button on that one. 4:55 here’s a small tip, for dealing with stickers that are a pain in the ass. If you can, boil water, til it’s steaming. Then put the sticker area over it, let it get all steamy, the sticker will be much easier to peel off. People sometimes do it with stamps. And if you get the sticker off, and it’s all sticky still? Acetone. Pure acetone, cheap to buy off Amazon, and it’ll dissolve that stuff easily, most of the time. And it evaporates really fast, so it shouldn’t damage anything sensitive. It does help that it’s on the lens, which I think is detachable? Not sure. I hope this helps someone. Plus, acetone is good for dissolving nail polish, and paint, and sharpie (I got it originally to get alcohol marker off things).
