So for anyone wondering the difference between being blind and legally blind, there are some huge differences. You can still see a bit while being legally blind, which means you can see the difference between dollar bills and coins, etc. Being blind means you are fully blind, so you can’t see anything. Legally blind means you can still see some things.
in defense of deer not "properly" reaction to cars. they have had centuries if not millennia of evolutionary grounding for what sounds lead to threats in the forest. by contrast they have had roughly 1 century for automobiles and engines. that is no where near enough time for them to internalize that as a life threatening danger. it also doesn't help that as we advance cars we steadily make them quieter and quieter... making it even harder for deer to identify it as a threat. branch snaps= "oh shit predator near by" weird humming in the air= "huh what that sound fam?"
@@swagnineeight05 cars move on average much faster than a deer's natural predator, and give them even less reaction time. remember speed is relative, you in an approaching car coming up on a deer appear to have more reaction time because time is moving slower from your perspective. while in the typically stationary deer's case you are moving terribly faster. think about it like this they still take a moment to process a stick breaking before bolting, in that time the predator is still "stalking" typically giving them the time to run. stepping in front of a speeding car gives very few people time to process what they just encountered and react accordingly, let alone many other animals.

9:33 I started a new job 2 weeks ago and worked in retail for the past two years, and this made me appreciate not working in it so much more. Soooo many people did this it was unbelievable. People genuinely just set things down and walk away forgetting it.

I used to work maintenance at an apartment complex a few years back. They called me "Maintenance Mama," and whenever there was more than one of something (outlets/switches or their plates, bulbs, handles, vent covers, etc) I refused to replace them if one didn't match with the others. If there was already one that was mismatched, then they ALL got replaced. The complex was owned by a nationwide company and we were suppose to be considered a Grade A/upper class complex, and it BOGGLED my mind when other maintenance employees didn't adhere to my (and the company's) level of standards. It was my responsibility to make sure every newly vacated unit met those standards and when it came time for inspection we got the highest rating our complex had ever gotten. It just drives me freaking nuts!
Little explanation for the individually wrapped bananas, single bananas tend to go bad faster due to air and other things, so wrapping them individually makes them last longer for people who only want one. I know I'm super late, but I only recently found this channel.

As a former retail worker, leftover drink cups don't bother me that much. You know what the bane of my existence was? *GUM.* People stuck gum all over the underside (or even the base!) of so many shelves. I'd lean over to stock or re-arrange something, and discover too little too late that I'd stuck my arm in gum and my sleeve was sticky for the rest of the day. People who can't spit their gum into a trash can need to have every headset they own break in 24 hours.
