Gio: “A one-Star rating out of five isn’t really a good thing.” Me: “It is if you’re talking about safety helmets. Because if you see one star going around your head, the helmet’s doing its job.”
1:10 he didn't choose null hoping to outsmart the system (as far as I'm aware). He just wanted matching plates with his wife who had void. (Like null and void)
Puppy Planet When I was a little kid, there was this old guy named Ed McMahon who was on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. And whenever somebody told a joke, he would yell “Hi-oooooooooh!” Whenever I hear the name of your state, I hear “O-HI-ooooooooh”
5:45 this happened to me last year because the person who installed the shower also put in the faucet for the bathtub and that happened. It shot the faucet and my reflexes said jump. If I didn't jump right there it would have shot metal around 25 MPH at my left leg.
Marty Black That’s a question mark. In English we use it to designate a sentence as interrogative, meaning a request for information. I learned about punctuation in the first grade I think. Mind you, I can’t remember what the hell I meant by “Are you really extra?” Maybe somebody had a comment or user name which said “I am extra” or something similar.
8:46 imagine this person working at a restaurant Her/Him idk: Would you like any continents with that? Me: Yeah, I’ll take Asia, North America, and Antarctica. Then: Ummm what?
At my elementary school, if you got in trouble while playing in the playground, the teachers would make you stand on a small red dot in the playground for a half hour and you weren’t allowed to sit or fiddle around.
6:18 The step up to quality stars are for like, bonus quality. Like a bonus objective in a video game. I work at a preschool that currently has one step up to quality star, and it actually is something to brag about.
8:49: I got an ad of someone putting ketchup on fries for 6 seconds and it was an ad for CAA. I Googled what CAA is and it's a transporting company, the ad had texts saying something and the last word would scroll to a new word. Seen the same ad with a different background video around 8 times, still don't know what the last text is.
My aunt ordered a pizza, they didn’t have two of he toppings she ordered so they just didn’t make the pizza and let the delivery person keep the money, the second she asked what happened a worker confessed to the whole thing and they gave her money back (In other words) there was an attempt to steal $40 from someone, but they told them everything when they were asked
Hiya, Education major here! Step up to Quality is an elective program to participate in for child care centers. One star isn't exemplary, but it does mean that they go a bit above what is baseline expected for a childcare center. I agree, it looks funny but just know that they participate in a program that helps them do even better. Also, if they're participants they MUST display the signage. :)
