It's not "transphobia", it's adherence to reality. We can respect Lexi for the work but still remain grounded in scientific fact without being disrespectful. Gender is determined by DNA and will never change no matter how much you alter your appearance. So those who call Lexi "him" are simply using fact-based reasoning rather than conforming to someone else's personal delusion. After all, if you met someone who said they were the second coming of Jesus Christ, would you accept and applaud that, or call for the men in white with butterfly nets?

Whether they're a sheet metal worker from Brooklyn calling themselves Jesus Christ, or a vagabond in Prague calling themselves Ghengis Khan, or a biological man calling themselves a woman, it's all the same psychopathy. The problem is that even social scientists have been cowed into enabling mental illnesses rather than treating them properly. And where do you draw the line? If a man can self-identify as a woman, do we then capitulate to self-identified quadroplegics and remove all their limbs to suit their mental illness? If someone self-identifies as a dolphin, do we start somehow transitioning them into a waterborne mammal with a blowhole? And while we're throwing billions of dollars into making people feel good about their untreated mental illness, that's money that COULD be going towards more immediate problems like inflation, water conservation, new sources of energy, STARVATION, just to name a few. We've got an entire generation that can't even point to their country on a globe, much less their home state, but we're spending money to let girls strip the skin off their forearm to make a non-functional penis. Same. I already knew what burning CDs meant, but I started to burn CDs only recently though. I was driven to burning CDs in this day and age because of the fact that my car has neither aux port or Bluetooth. Kinda weird considering that it's from 2007 and is otherwise pretty high-end. That's what prosopagnosia (face blindness) is. It's a neurodivergent condition that causes anything from difficulty remember the faces of people, to complete inability to recognize faces at all. Example of the latter/more severe cases would be someone who can't see faces in things like wood whirls, or art, or even really when looking at someone's face. For the former/less severe cases would be someone who takes longer to recognize loved ones or people they see regularly outside of the context they are used to, or who has to rely on other cues (voice, hair, clothes, etc) to recognize then. That's why Lexi apologized about "starting the video on a bad note" and said that she thinks she is "literally/actually faceblind." I can understand her concern about it, as I myself have some degree of prosopagnosia and have had times I have completely missed faces not looking right.
