R-Type Final 2: All Bosses on R-TYPER 3 Difficulty (Hardest Difficulty)

What about R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate? Although that game in Japanese Release have its own English Patch, thr problem is the Importing Save File from R-Type Tactics/Command to R-Type Tactics II. I wish R-Type Tactics and Tactics II will have its own port prior to the release of R-Type Final 2.

@@mystyle_jm8997 Recently I discovered of the translation patch, I remember when it wasn't translated so I didn't tried it, even when I enjoyed the original Tactics. I'm now playing it in my PS Vita. Mission 3 or 4 afaik

Its real identity of the Ebon Eye is Major, the final boss from R Type Leo. Aside from looking the same, let me tell you the other reason why. Major is the first "super computer core" that humanity built. It would make sense that eventually humans would purposely turn it into the first bydo core in the original timeline where no bydo invasion took place. The Ebon Eye is simply a more technologically advanced Major from the Future, and the "bydo world" is simply the artificial planet Major controls. The reason why Major malfunctions in the bydo invasion timeline is simply because his future self influenced his past non bydo self, slowly converting him into bydo. If the pilot failed to destroy him in time, humanity would have had to deal with 2 ebon eyes.

But the artificial planet that Major controls is called Eden and there's a huge difference between that and the Bydo homeworld. Not to mention that the final stages of R-Type 1 and 2 simply take place on the Bydo homeworld, but that was before it eventually evolved into what it is now.

@Jahmir White There are huge differences between the two Edens and the two Majors because they both come from different dates and timelines. 2100 A.D vs. 2500 A.D The version you destroy in Leo only just began the bydofication process before you destroy it. Not only that, Eden was using 2100 A.D technology. The Bydo Homeworld Eden came from the Year 2501 A.D Centuries of technology set them apart. The bydo homeworld is simply a fully bydofied and technologically superior Eden. Do you know how radically different computers were 40 years ago? Imagine what computers would look like 400 years into the future. If you still need convincing, let's approach this from a logical perspective. In the original timeline, humanity purposely created the Bydo. First, they needed to make the Bydo core, not a core, the core. They could make a super biological computer from scratch. Or simply do an operation on Major. Humanity was waging war with the "other civilization" they needed to do something FAST. Major could have been more weaponized for the war, but it wasn't enough for humanity. At that moment, they decided to turn Major into Ebon Eye.

@@justnobody1473 As awesome that idea is, it saddly kinda overshadow the true mastermind beyond the Bydo, The Solar Envoy. The most mysterious entity in the R-Type Franchise that can recycle Dead Bydo tissue and any wreckage it can come across. It been comfortably sitting at the balcony seat; at the Earth's Sun witnessing The Bydo Wars go down. It is a seemingly immortal machine, that the Bydo took it down once with many losses, only for it rise again seconds later, rebuilds its army with the dead bydo surrounding it. The Bydo deemed it impossible to beat, and threw themselves into the sun, to refusing to be recycle by it.

@@justnobody1473 Ebon Eye Real identity is actually a Human mutated into bydo and finally manifested to Bydo Core form. In R-Type Command Ebon Eye final moments stared at the Commander directly with sorrow and envy. It explodes and E.M.P. the whole fleet making them crash into the blue bydo gel. turning them into bydo. Then R-Type Tactics 2 ( or Unrelease American Command 2 ). there is young version of Ebon Eye in the middle of its manifestation, The Amber Eye. which supposedly the result of the previous R-Type Tactics Commander now Bydo, living too long. Also there been more 1 ebon eyes or " Bydo Core ". That been existing all at once. R-Type's 1 Supreme Bydo, R-Type 2 Devil Machine ( that creates Supreme Bydos ), R-Type 3 Mother Bydo ( creates powerful Bydos ), R-Type Delta The Awaken Force ( Who been hiding in the Bydo Banished Dimension ). As R-Type Delta event is being set up R-Type 2 starts, then Delta starts in the middle of it. R-Type 3 happens once the Delta Squadron go to space. R-Type 2 pilot finally returns to earth after a long voyage and R-Type 3 ends as R-Type Delta starts it's last stage.

It doesn't have a boss but its the longest stage in the game with unforgiving checkpoints.

You can time out most bosses if you wait long enough

nvm... i got it... It seems you can kind of control him and the key is staggering how you kill his stems, it's still random and all over the place....

yeah, that's the worst one, definitely don't recommend doing that path if trying for a deathless run

Well，the Bydos are supposed to be able to learn and copy all the machines they found.That makes almost all the weapons that have encountered Bydo can be threats to humanity. All the bydo machines in previous series are the weapons of 26th century. However,as Bydo warped back to 22th century,the history altered and humans decided to create R-fighters.

@@user-fn5bt2xh8m Yep while R-Type final mentions that most of the weapons the Bydo use, where human weapons before, such as the gigantic crab in the second level (in the original "Final" game that is) also the robot with a chaingun that comes out of the ship that is destroying the city in the same game, they can also adapt to exist in extreme temperatures, underwater, and even alter their form to exist and multiply in cyberspace, they have essentially countered every single thing humanity has thrown at them, including time travel

beat the final mission (which one is your choice I think) on "R-Typer" to unlock R-Typer 2. Then beat the final mission on "R-Typer 2" to unlock R-Typer 3. It works if you just play stage score mode :)

Well I didn't know it had some sort of a blind spot there, dammit I failed this boss on NORMAL!! XD

No way. Level 5 without a persistant style beam is insane!

6.0 is by far the hardest. Regenerating barriers, huge boss size, and a lot of hits before it goes down.

@@greenzsaber Really? That's one's fine as long as you keep moving. 6.2 is the worst offender for me. The weak spot is in an awkward position where you constantly have to dodge incoming fire, especially when you mostly have ships that only fire forwards.

Then play it on something else like on console. I've seen u complain about that alot
