I think "Distorded Ecosystem" and "Crazed Craft" are gonna be the first stages that im going to rename in the whole game, back to their original tittles, "Twisted Ecology" and "Crazy Machine"
LMAO R Type ll boss death makes me laugh. Everyone can agree here that this boss just basically means time to steal your powerups! Took me almost an hour to beat the boss using Arrowhead. I havent tried the other ships yet since i mostly stick with the OG Arrowhead classic.
The resource quarry boss killed me more times than entire runs from beginning to end in the main missions. The bounce lightning wave cannon is my favorite.
Even on practice difficulty he can be difficult for first timers. I don’t know what I would do without the bounce lightning wave cannon. I’d still be fighting that boss
Yeah, I finally beat it after 4 hours of constant retries and was only able to beat it with the R-9S' Mega Wave Cannon that goes through walls on the 2nd loop charge. It was the biggest mistake I made to go in head first on Normal difficulty cause the missiles are a nightmare.
Final 2’s version of Twisted Ecology feels like an entirely different level, with both the temperature & humidity changes being built into the stage itself rather than being determined by the previous playthrough and the boss being an “adult” Negus O Shim rather than a pupa.
@@MegaYoYo If you want to save money you can download it 4 free in igg games, is pretty stable in pc/laptop the dimensions EX, totally recommended, but if i were you, i would be waiting for black friday or christmas sales in steam games

@@MegaYoYo Yes mate I do many on Rtyper but this things driving me nutz, I want to make up a stage with Red at the start and under water Red at the end like I am moving through time, I'll keep trying .. your a Great player ..I can get 2 thirds in and Im dead 4 hr yest and 4 day before lol.
@@yorkshirepud6676 This is the hardest boss in the game for sure. The ship that got me through this was R13A Cerberus. I never used my force because that saved my life from bullets. The drills WILL pierce the force though. Memorize the room since that's the most constant hazard.

I have over 90 ships.. building my own game stages is a Great thing in the game, I need the last dlc with the snake in as I want to dip in and out of the classic with some new.. Thanks again .. I like the idea to put all the different ecosistem in 1 mission for R Type final 2 remaster . I am desapoint to granzella dont do full game pack . Like 3 lvl of 1 game by pack . According their page we will maybe have 2 more lvl of Final 1 . The lvl 1 and the 3
@@crimsonghost3175 They are working on another DLC pack. They are also gonna be giving a free update later this year for R-Type final 2. It's supposed to be a whole new path.
Addictive in the sense i don't want to give up in shame. I'm determined (so far i've seen nobody do this) to beat the boss with an r9 pattern craft on bydo difficulty. It's fucking impossible. 4 hours i spent on him....4 hours and walked away empty handed. Like yeah i could use the hades and cheese it with the wave cannon but I don't want to but it is just impossible with the wave master on anything above normal difficulty.
@@nunyabusiness9056 If you are able to would you mind sharing that footage to the world? I tried doing the same thing and I spend two hours on it before giving up on Bydo difficulty. I'm currently on vacation so I have other things I want to do and not spend countless hours on that boss with the R9A

@@nunyabusiness9056 I was able to beat it on bydo with Wave Master. I found it a little more tolerable if you skip the first POW and charge up the wave cannon to level 3 and hit the boss first. Little less time required to keep your concentration at max lol. Still brutal though.
@@redbones01 so how did you do it? you just spent most of your time navigating the maze and charging up your wave cannon? I find i can't get through the 2nd hallway with the drones unless i'm shooting. After the first loop of the maze i just can't stay alive while i'm shooting. The strat i'm going for now is to just hit it with an early 1, then 4 charge of the wave master, then just shoot and try to survive to the end of the maze (maze ends in 4 loops) and i assume if i can survive that the boss should be low enough on health that i can probably kill him pretty fast with my force. I cannot survive to the end of that damn maze tho. It's just ridiculous
