Great run, you Kyle Busch'd the whole weekend bud. Chicagoland has a great flow feeling to it. Really fast track to just get in a groove and clock some laps in. Hitting your stride.. Drop that hammer son and give em hell the 2nd half! Powered by Merica 🇺🇸
That was the most "together" I've been all season - felt good. Also really enjoyed the flow of Chicagoland. Shame it's seemingly being left behind. I hope so! Part 2 of the 2003 season is sponsored by Geico and Gatorade. 😎
Here's an interesting thought. Maybe I should consider using the actual, dedicated motorsports account instead of the non-motorsports account to interact with this kind of content. Might be smart. Maybe. What can I say? This was basically as good a run as possible. I'm pretty sure NASCAR's already going "Baker's dominance will bore fans" (it won't). Got pole by a healthy margin, got the great race start (despite cold tires), got the great pitstop, got the pace in both stints (despite complaints to the contrary) and got solid traffic management. The only negatives were those practice spins, but clearly you got them out of your system before the race. Excellent showing all in all. Now time to do it again.
I dunno, that sounds like a pretty good idea to me! 😏 I feel like it's finally coming together. Definitely need to take this run of form into the second half of the season. Even if the wins stop coming but it's just consistent finishes in the Top 10 or even Top 15, I'd be very happy.
There will be a follow up, but I'm considering jumping to a 90s season, Quantum Leap style. The next season I do I'm going to hike the AI up to at least 99 and then see how I get on, and then potentially start a "career" from whatever year I do.
