For those of you asking why there are so many R2s and how much they cost, this was done at an annual gathering of the R2 Builders Club in Southern California. A bunch of us in the club each brought our own R2 toy. It took a few tries before we got all of them to dance together. And we actually do build life-size replicas of the real R2 prop.

I want one!!!!

Them R2 units are like close to 200 bucks, who knows how many a all of those cost?!?

I got one of these, it is the best toy I have EVER bought. I got it for $90 at Diseny World MGM studios at the Star Wars gift shop. Worth every dollar I paid. I love it. A great collector item too!

For those asking, there's many places you can buy one. I got mine quite a few years ago, when they originally came out. Before they were re-released with Episode 3. Ebay would be a good place to look, perhaps.

This is adorable. R2d2 is epically the best.

At school we had a day to bring in are coolest toy to school and show the class. On that day I brought my R2-D2.... i was the coolest kid in elementary school that year.

I'm getting mine on Monday, I can't wait. I'd love to modify a Moped to look like an X-Wing and have a place behind the cockpit for him, but I don't have the cash or spare time for that. I'll have to make do with just enjoying R2's company.
