Fantastic ! Wish there was more footage of these guy's ride ! As a veteran of some bumpy catamaran rides, my secret weapon has always been to wear five pair of 'brief' underpants under my gear ! The motion of the boat creates 'friction' on the crew ! (at a bare minimum ! ) Four days of bouncing ? Try that! See how you feel 12 hours into it ?

So can we say foil boats are excluded in 2017 from r2ak?

I don’t think anyone has tried a foiler yet in the race, probably because of the expense and delicacy of the big ones. I don’t think they are excluded tho
