Hey Evan! Maybe you could get a magnetic fender cover whilst working on your engine. Might prevent little scatches on your fender, since you got your awesome new paint job. Even if its your belt or the metal screws on your jeans. Can't be cautious enough while working on that engine :D Love the series! Keep it up. Much love from Vienna

Please document you finishing up the intake manifold side and where you route everything it would help a lot lol I’m doing the same intake manifold swap on my rb25 lol

Those lock clips on the turbo bolts are actually important. If you ever had an rb or Sr without those then you understand the frustration of not having them. The turbo bolts love to vibrate loose and no matter how hard you tighten them they always loosen themselves back again and you won't know until you hear a horrible exhaust leak. Had to tighten my Sr turbo bolts every week for a few months until I got those clips.

Instead of cleaning that cas (cam angle sensor) and replace it with a trigger kit. Cleaner smaller more effective. Coming from a guy in New Zealand.

You know what would be SICK? if you took the engine out and did the engine bay right. Get a vacuum block to consolidate and clean up those lines too

Take a heat gun to the wrinkle black if you really want it have that wrinkle affect.

The bay’s gonna look DOPE in satin black, so clean and slick. Glad the manifold came off easier ish than the manifold, not looking forward to doing any of those things on my RB20. Glad you’re doing everything right!

I think gold for the valve cover would look good. Then a black crinkle spark plug cover. Followed by the Nissan lettering in gold to accent it. . Just saying. Did it on my EP3 Civic and it looked so good

Evan, might I suggest you acquire some fender covers to lay over the top of the fenders in the engine compartment to cover them while you lean in to work on the car. They are made so you don't scratch the paint. At the very least a cheap DIY version could simply be a thick application of multiple layers of shrink wrap. around the vulnerable areas.
