he probably left it out for good reason. He has to leave some interesting bits out now when it comes to his FD car cause there are some Pro team chodes who are using it against him. But i agree, wouldve been cool to hear Kevins opinion
@@PSTS636 how is he the worst pro one driver when he is beating people, the man has like 6 cars he has to get use to and just agreed on the fact that the s15 which he has minor practice in is the hardest car he has ever driven, im not fan boying but he deserves to be where he is, and still could drive miles around me, you, and anyone else in this comment section.
Really wanted to hear what Kevin Lawrence had to say about the S15. It's too late in the season to do it now, but next season, it might be time to ditch the wisefab all together and go PBM.
@@AdamLZ there are still the lock kits which are "FD legal"? Or you can use any you want to? Maybe go with gk? Japanese s chassis are handling great without wf 🙂
Man, I have always been a fan of Adam. Been watching for at least 3 years now, but ever since Mike joined to help produce, the content is sooooooo good. My favorite channel now, hands down.
Those studs are totally safe to touch, the ARP 625’s are a stainless steel alloy that makes them resistant to the oxidation that causes studs to become brittle. Their L19 material is a very similar tensile strength, but are a ferrous alloy of some kind that are then treated and hardened. Those are susceptible to oxidation embrittlement that can be caused by touching them, but use of harsh solvents like break cleaner are the real dangers. ARP only recommends L19 material in sealed environments like crank cases, but we run L19 flywheel bolts and touch them all the time with no issue, we just make sure to bag them when out of the motor so we don’t accidentally get parts cleaner on them while wiping down other clutch components. The L19 stuff has a matte gold color to em which makes them look pretty cool👌🏻
To fix the steering problems on the S15 there's a company called affordable offroad power steering I think is the name, Jeremy from Fasterproms just put a rack from them in his Miata and he's able to adjust the feel of the steering and able to steer with his pinky finger lol. I think that's the way to go for you since you've been dealing with power steering issues a lot. This unit I think is electric as well so you won't have problems like a mechanical one.
Taylor ray tried electric steering in his miata and didn’t like the feel. Wasn’t enough feed back. I imagine LZ would think the same. Could be wrong though 🤷♂️
its cool that Adam is having input from other drivers like Pat on his s15. sometimes you just need someone else's driving experience to let you know what's off with the car.
Honestly the fact he can have so many pros test out his set up and give him input is such a great thing for Adam learning what he needs to do. Good for him!
rear lower, front higher (no, not 'because Animals make so'), wider fronts. In my opinion from the beginnig has problems with front grip (or to much rear) and transissions weird due to front-rear high adjustment. More weird, that Andy was a crew chief of Worthouse and didn't settled your car similar to Piotr's or James's...look on the onboards how 'easy' and with how great 'flow' those cars are moving forward (for example a video from testing at Parc). This S15 is moving very 'square'
@@stiankoivisto it surely is. And unfortunately - Adam has not dailed thru rest of the season too...Despite of this, that Texas was a little bit better. I can't get it. For sure I'm not a spec how to set up a drift car, but for me watching that just from the outside it is quite clear...Front is too soft and too low od 17's in combo with higher rear with 285 on 18's. Front springs and sway bar stiffer, 18's, suspension higher. Rear sway bar out, springrate lower, suspension lower (as at the begining of the season). Even with the WF, which I hate - it has to work. James Dean has uploaded a great video about how to allign S-chassis and his S14 and 15 were doing great!
That last Drift test was soooo Nice no rev limiter Reminded me of Old Lz b4 for he became every other drifter on youtube and just bouncing the limiter like a drum
Is their reason on why you still on a wet sump/factory oil pump setup instead of dry sump, on these kind of application of competition? Love the “I am watching you!” Sticker 😂
It wasn't an issue last year in pro 2, but now playing with the big boys, they found out that they need to go dry sump. He talked about this in the last formula drift video that the way that enjuku built the S15 doesn't leave much room for the lines and other goodies that go along with a dry sump system. It'll get it in the offseason for sure.
@@driftspecs13 its not even a matter of playing with the big boys i dont think cause he was driving the car just as hard, Pro 2 if i recall theres just more banks in this season for Pro 1 and thats giving him the oil sloshing problem.
I can't find it, but i thought they said there wasn't enough room to put a dry sump tank. The engine bay looks tight, and there isn't room with the radiator in the rear.
@@mikelittorris6973 yeah i believe he said that while they can technically fit it they’d have to move a bunch of stuff around which they just don’t have the time for in this season. maybe they’ll do it to have the car ready for next reason but it won’t happen right now.
Adam! CP pistons love to piston slap! so fair warning i have used these pistons in my SR track car and the piston slap is pretty bad so if you hear knocking it is probably the piston skirts hitting the cylinder wall!
Dam I remember 3 years ago you were doing bmw videos an now ur a pro drifter everything is possible 💯 that’s crazy how 3 years ago u only had a bmw n ur 240sx n now you got all these drift cars u got a R34🔥 dam
hey man, I remebered watching you back when you did BMX vlogs and I just remebered your name. When you switched over to cars I kinda stopped watching but its good to see that youre still around doing what ya love, take care!
You need the '99 spec (Evo V) tail lights to complete the look. All the TME's that came after were '00 spec, were coloured without the stripes (Black, red, white and blue) they also made the TME RS model in this year which all had tail lights from the Evo VI... Also your life Adam, you lucky bastard!
This is my first time watching Adam high and my first time watching one of his engine builds, this wouldn’t appeal to me sober but rn this is very entertaining
Don't forget the Anti-Seize on those spark plugs before you finish that motor! Taking so much time and effort on this motor it would be terrible to miss a small detail like that
Adam drifting the s15 with the 350zs is so overkill that you couldn’t even say that he brought a gun to a knife fight, he brought a goddamn cannon into a discussion
in the videos of the s15 drifting on the pad, you can clearly see that there's something wrong with the front of the car, just as Pat said, you can see that the rear of the car is catching up with the front, the rear is set up nice and quick and sharp, and the front is kinda sluggish and unpredictable. but that's good news. room for lots of improvements.
You need to put some major seat time in the S15 to make sure next round of FD you kill it. It seems like you don't want to get to close when you are doing tandems in FD but when you are in Klutch Kickers with the BMW throwing down so hard. You killed until you went off track leading against Kevin Lawrence, that was a bummer.
With what Pat said. Maybe some kind of damper to control it from going to instant lockout? I know they make one so you can control how much fluid pressure goes to the rack. That's assuming it's still hydraulic.
Lower tire pressure 18psi in back 20pounds in front more weight from engine",and itll help you gane distances on others while in transitions on corners
That r34 is gooing to be Epic! Love it that you giving it the love it deserves, down to every Bolt and so on 👍💪. I mean if it is just One car that deserves to be ground up perfection, its a r34 GT-R. Its an investment! (Yes it is my dreamcar 😜)
I mean I’d say the LS is Australians LS lol cuz they got them over there too but I’d say that Australians have mastered and figured out the RB’s better than half the world they’ve built some of the worlds most bulletproof RB’s out there
