Looking forward to see this finished, I did the same thing over 8 years ago. Stripped down to the bare shell and rebuilt back up with full gtr oem parts, interior/exterior and also the rb26 engine from an r34 gtr, I wish I could do it all over again but the cost of parts and these cars are getting pricey, wish I didn’t sell it 😢

Thats true mate. Parts are very hard to get and expensive these days.

I have a gtt with 500whp. Could I essentially drop an rb26 into it without many issues? Getting a mechanic to do the work of course. Or do I need more parts like upgraded manual gearbox and such. Thanks!

Hi mate. Keeping it rwd at the moment. I can convert to awd but rwd is more fun.

I assume you're keeping that 5 speed transmission?

Yes mate. Keeping the gtt 5 speed for now. Love to get sequential gearbox but later on.

I did get a great deal and trade price. Rebuilt used engine is minimum $15000 to 20k. Hard to find anything under 10k
