I have the same build, 7600x and 7900gre for 1440p, I love it! I do wonder if I should switch the 7900gre to a 4070 super but performance wise the build is great!
It only makes sense to switch GPUs to a double power model. 7900gre has 27K as G3Dmark score, if well optimized you can reach 33K. In my opinion it only makes sense to upgrade to the 4090 which has 38K.
7600x and 7900 GRE has the best price to performance for 2K. There are diminishing returns after that, although going higher than that might be a good idea for many people
