Good update.I did about a year ago, only one is not very sure because of the police issue and to pass the technical inspection to the Mini one must take out with that it does not happen.
Ah yes the challenge that the rule makers apply, some make sense and others... Maybe just say you own a GP, they have them from factory! Or you had a factory upgrade to the GP wing?
For anyone watching the video the instructions is to build it fully off the car and then you slide it on built - makes it much easier than trying to assemble on the car ;) and when fitted the guide suggest the metal fitting sides get hand bent up to be in line with the wing
Thank you Paul. It certainly looks the part. I think the other version has slightly better integration between the upright and the wing blade itself, but the aluminium sides look absolutely fine to me!! Thank you for watching
Hi Mike, I assume they are in there somewhere, but I did not see them. They could be in behind the plastic covering, I will have to double check that. However, as above I did not see anything when I drilled the holes.
Have not really looked at the f56, r56, yes. The f56 wing is quite a bit bigger I believe, so bound to have bolts holding it, can you see any obvious bolt holes?
Would have been a lot more informative if you had someone hold the camera for you. Too much time just seeing you hands and not what was actually being done.
Agreed Paul, not my best work for sure! I am investing in more equipment to try and make sure viewers can see more of what I am doing in future videos. Appreciate the feedback
@@paullee2177 one thing I have found is that this wing is a tight fit in between the body and rear door. As you drive down the road and the chassis flexes you get noises from the rubbing. Something I need to look into. May have to run away a bit of the plastic fittings on the car to give more room
