Watch every UEFA Champions League goal scored by @realmadrid and @S04 legend Raúl. He has 71 in total... which one is your favourite? -- Watch More: www.uefa.tv Learn More: www.uefa.com
Wrong and I'm a Madrid fan. Owen came to Madrid in 2005 and outscored Raul in his own backyard. Everytime he came off the bench he scored. He had the best goals per game ratio in la liga. Owen was more lethal, quicker with the ball and a better finisher. Raul whilst excellent was fortunate he played with Figo in 2001 . Although in fairness to Raul he was a solid headerer of the ball
@@sugs1191 Owen flopped at Madrid Raul was a starter back then while Owen was a substitute and Raul won Madrid a Ucl and Laliga double in 2000/01 Season while Owen like any English talent was overhyped
I'm RM fans... I never like raul... I just wonder how he manage to find himself in the line-up during galacticos... Surely must be some quota system of Spanish FA
@@owenzolengthe-ww9vm He was the topscorer of Ucl until Cristiano showed up He was the symbol of Madrid once like Real Madrid was once called Raul Madrid
One of the best players to not win a Ballon D'or. Carried Spain for ages(was betrayed after they hit their prime & didn't allow him to win trophies) & sacrificed himself as a supporting cast so many ways. The real playmaking number nr.9 that was assisting & scoring, like what Benzema has been doing. A carrier of the heart of flame that represents the royal mentality of Real Madrid.
You can't deny Cristiano's impact on Real Madrid. But if you ask me, although I was never a Madrid supporter, Raul was a phenomenal player. He was the soul, he was everything for them. He could be a 10, a striker, a winger. A wonderful, amazing footballer.
@@acidspit14 Back in that era the most a person could score in a champions league campaign was 9-10 goals. There were so many world class goal scorers including Raul, Jardel, Shevchenko, Van Nistelrooy, Rivaldo, Elber etc.
I thought no one can beat Raul's record especially group stages down to only one group after 2002 but now many passed him... He was the first "UCL Superstar" in my eyes.
@@MM-dm4xj lol, he competed against Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Stam, Puyol, Ferdinand, Thuram, Desailly, Campbell, Ayala, Vidic.. and the list goes on.. There is not a defender of our current era that can top any of the guy I listed above
Raul was incredible, he was my favourite striker back then, especially between 1994-2004 It's no surprising to know that he was selected best striker three seasons in a row 2000, 2001, 2002 Undoubtedly, he deserved the Ballon d'Or in 2001 instead of Michael Owen.
Greatest player in Real Madrid history. He was and still is Mr. Real Madrid. A class act on and off the pitch. One of the world‘s best in his prime. A boy from their own youth setup turned into a superstar.
@@aranyaism Well, maybe for "Madrid since CR7“ fans. I was just a kid during the early 2000s, but to us who followed football back then, Raul meant Real Madrid. Guys like Raul, Hierro, Guti and Casillas.
Raul was goalscoring machine. At Real Madrid, he played with some of The best players. In the world and his record in the, Champions League, was outstanding, ⚽🌍
I was waiting a lot for this channel to post his goals. For a long period of time he was the best goal scorer of tournament, deserve to be posted first
Remember the nickname Raul Madrid 💟 but still can't believe Real let this guy go. Pushed the play button, went into the shower, took a shower, got out, and Raul was still scoring 👏🤘👌
Its Raul Madrid, such an Awesome footballer, hes everything you want in a striker, as well as a captain and Leader. Raul and Guti remains my favorite combo in Real History.
Just like Owen-Gerrard in Liverpool, Hierro and Figo were the better choice. Only Raul himself knows the real reason, but IMO he might not be at the highest confidence to take the spot kick. Penalty is like corner kick, no matter a pro or amateur, some guys are just better than others.
@@iganpparamarta8813 oh absolutely. It's a team game. I was thinking it proves we need to look beyond mere numbers of goals when talking about how great a striker is. Penaldo comes to mind
He had skill, which is increasingly on display as the compilation continues, but his positional awareness was just unparalleled. It felt like he was always in the right place at the right time. That doesn't happen by accident.
Todo El Mundo decia que esta porque me llamo tambien Raoul que fue mi jugador preferido. No no y no. elangancia, Technica, golazos gracias Senor Gonzales. You made my childhood
