This is the purest form of vocals, to showcase the singing ability and range of the singer. It also has minimal instruments in the background so you can focus on the vocals and technique. She is singing in the Indian Classical Music style. Probably the oldest classical music style in the world. What she is singing has been passed down verbally from a guru to a student unchanged for more than 4000 years.

As a practising Hindu you liking kirtans I can understand because kirtans are nothing but songs praising dieties. But mantras are a completely different thing and on a completely different level because there are set rules to chant them to produce certain vibrations which help us in some way or the other. If you really know about mantras I am genuinely impressed and happy.

Ok... I don't know what roolies have told you... But... The whole performance is divided into 3 parts... 1. The introduction of the main Raag (base line) that will be used. Till 01:30 . 2. Then, we have actual song... Not based on lyrics but the vocalisation... Here, the song is about a beauty who is flirting with her man... (Not in a sexual way... Just heart to heart love) 01:30 onwards... 3. Finish... The increased tempo... The final flaunting of the whole raag on which the song was based. 06:30 onwards... 4. She goes an extra step ahead... To conclude it with real words to give it her own stamp and show that she is not a rookie but an established player. And it is not a lesson but a real performance. 08:30 onwards... These lines are rhetoric verses... Asking her love to arrive back to the temple in her heart. How do i know this? Because I have attended many concerts by India's most expert classical artists in my research institute (science based). These kind of art forms are exclusive to usually the most intelligent brains... These people don't perform in front of dumba**es... To be able to attend any one concert is a dream come true. They usually do not come before the cameras.

Additionally... Most high profile Indian people have access and taste for this kind of music.... Whether they be great indian scientists, political leaders or religious leaders... Most things about them are secrets which need extra efforts to be unvieled.... Unlike modern day Raps... Or melodies tuitions for which are readily available...

There are two distinct traditions that are generally geographically divided between North and South India. They have similar roots and concepts but their elaboration is beautiful contrasted and many different instruments are used. The two main styles of Indian Classical music are Hindustani music(North India) and Carnatic music(South India).

❤️❤️❤️For this reaction Just FYI that Indian Classical Music is 98% improvisation.. Just the notes of Raag and 2 lines of lyrics are fixed and everyyyyyythinggg else is improvisation every single time...and these concerts are live, go on for more than an hour continously... Also classical singers usually start training at very young age like around 4-5...and go on training for about a decade... I would suggest that listen to a full fledged concert at least once in your lifetime ❤️❤️❤️

Indian music follows SA RE GA MA PA DHA NEE Just like Western music follows DOH RE ME FA SO LA TEE And the Raaga she is singing is more like a template for songs, you can fit words and your song is ready. It's one among thousands of templates (raaga). Every raaga has it's own notes which has to be sang in certain criteria.

U are right about Indian Classical music. It puts u in a trance. Indian classical music relates to the elements of nature. Traditional singers of ancient India were known to attract the elements of nature and divine powers through their singing of the ragas. It has been passed down from generations to generations and we are fortunate enough to have such maestros amidst us nurturing the age old tradition of our music.

She’s speaking the Notes : Sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa which are C# D# F F# G# A# C C# But in this specific Raga (Bhimpalasi) which she has sung in Kafi Thaat. The Ga(F) and Ni(C) Notes are sung in Ga(E) and Ni(B). She’s combining all the notes and singing these notes in their original sound frequencies such as Sa(C#3) is sung in the frequency of around 138-139hz. Singing them in a combination is called a Sargam(Sargam refers to singing the notes instead of the words of a composition).

Gaayan(singing), waadan(playing instruments), and Nritya(dancing) together from Sangeet ( music).Indian classical music(Bhartiya Shashtriya Sangeet) has two forms. North Indian classical music and south indian classical music. There are seven notes sa, re, ga, ma, pa, dha, ni, (and sa again) same as do, re, me, fa, so, la, ti, do. These seven notes have teevra(strong) and komal(soft) swars(tones).From these seven notes 10 base(Thaat) raagas(style of singing with a particular combination of these notes) emerged. From these 10 thaat(base) raagas hundreds of other raagas emerge. Every raaga has a particular time mood and even season for singing. For example raaga 'Bhairav and Bhairavi' are sung in early morning. These two raagas have very soothing and calming tones. Some raagas are sung in afternoon, some midnight, some for the expression of happiness, some for desire and so on. For example 'raaga Maalkos' is sung during the rainy season. Every season, time or emotion has a raaga dedicated to it ! And based on these raagas you can compose your own song that song composers with classical background often do in indian movies !!! Sometimes the singer pronounces the notes and sometimes she just vocalises the notes ( aaaa...) exactly in accordance with the rules of 'aaroh' and 'avroh' of that particular raga. Immense control of vocal chord muscles and breathing is required to do so ! From raagas emerge 'daadra', 'thumri', 'tarana'...) You can do bachelor's(Sangeet Visharad) master's(Sangeet Nipurna) and even PhD in indian classical music. I am writing from my limited knowledge about Indian classical music that I acquired from my mom. She had bachelor's degree(Sangeet Visharad) in Indian classical vocal music from a reputed (full time and regular) classical music college along with a bachelor's degree in science. Learning Indian classical music takes extreme hard work, patience and endurance. It is like a long dedicated meditation for ages. If you can master Indian classical music, that would take you to an altogether different dimension !!!

Hi, good reaction video. Just one point to make. Hindu Gods are NOT blue. They are ash coloured, a symbol of balance between dark or light, black and white. So that was supposed to be the shade, which upon aging thousands of years became more bluish - and later everyone started painting them blue. She Sang a particular Rag. And each 3 hour period of a day has a few particular Ragas, which usually resonate with body and mind's natural frequency perhaps, as such music is healing in many ways. Difficult to put in words. The trained ppl may correct me if this is an assumption, not fact.

This is Indian classic music. .You have to learn at least for a decade. Every song or folk music in india is based on classic music called Raag. There are thousands of Raags that is using different notes.
@manohardahal3514
@manohardahal3514 3 года назад
Those are solfege / solfeggio , not words. Classical singers mix up solfege and the song lyrics. The mixing up most be in the perfect timing. The words used are Sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa , equivalent to do re mi fa sol la ti do . There are komal and tivra notes too, which composes 12 notes in a chromatic scale corresponding to western music. A raag is basically a melody composed up of certain group of notes (scale) while ascending and certain group of notes while descending. They have very strict rules of what to do while ascending/descending, which notes to focus upon, which notes not to touch while ascending, other rules for descending, and which notes are sweet when touched sometimes (accidental). Every raag has its philosophy of "what feeling it should give". For example, major scale is raag bilaawal in eastern classical, a major pentatonic is raag bhupali in eastern classical music, similarly, Lydian scale corresponds to raag yaman, etc. There are many raags, new raags are still forming. Anybody reading this comment should have realized till this line that it's some sort of thing that people back off before starting, cause there are more rules than notes/scales, etc. Yes, it is difficult, and thus, people don't do this for some popularity/fame, cause this type of music can be understood to some extent only by the people with a slight knowledge or understanding of classical music and its feels. So they perform to those audiences. And moreover, they sing 'for their own satisfaction and meditation' , cause no other things could be thought except the notes and beats, which makes it a perfect example of concentration and meditation.

Hand, head or body gestures are part of indian culture during a vocal presentation be it a talk or singing.Smooth hand,body or head gestures can't help in controlling voice during singing. Jerking gestures do help in controlling voice but it is indication of immaturity in singing. Masters never use jerking hand or head or body gestures to control voice.

@@gcunegundesgc3059 I am very serious. They have sort of become the new music mafia in India. They are remixing all old songs, which had melody at their core and they are sending out trash by producing synthesised music to the extent that their music is without any soul. They have no originality, they are controlling who can sing and who cannot. They have many regional channels, I am speaking about the overall T-Series brand. I am not saying the artists they feature are all bad, but the way their approach towards music has been, will shoo away a music lover.

I've seen many reactions ruining the flow of music and I just hate all of them. U don't have to talk when she's singing. Indian music don't require ur technical explaination. It could have been better if u had listened to her without interrupting the video.

You can literally watch the original video if you want no interruptions. This video literally tells that it is a reaction video. Sirf copy paste nahi kar sakte h videos ko.
