Kaushiki is beyond description, she is flawless and constantly enchanting. But I can't help noticing the young lady with glasses on her right side playing away tambura patiently and also practicing, as it were, her own shuddha bhairavi silently as evidenced by the movement of her lips, and she seems pleased with the program. Normally, she appears statuesque, but she is quite animated. I suppose she is Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty's student! I hope she gets to perform as well. Bravo, Kaushiki.

I am a retired teacher 70, listen classical vocal, instruments, don't understand much, I love to listen sweet singer Koushiki, remain blessed, give more and more.
I remember when Padit Shivkumar Sharma was performing in front of Sathya Sai Baba, He said this is music directly from the heavens. Sister Kausihi Chakroborty's music is also from the heavens. A normal being cannot render to this exemplary standard. There is no doubt as she said this is a Spiritual Journey through Music. Your music is moving every cell in the body. Extremely Divine.
One should know each and every person has its own flavour, skills, emotions and expression which is obviously not as same as we think and in the rendition of a particular raaga its totally on the singer how it expresses such, so if people think that it is gimmick than they should try once recording there singing they will realise how its difficult to think and express as well as beautify it from your subconscious mind if I say it practically. I know her style of singing is more of new combinations and aalapkari but its her style! and you should respect it as Classical of our India is acclaimed worldwide from such artist like her and called many times. I am really proud and fascinated by her singing and she is really a role model for young classical learners, can listen to her several times and learn..... (Its my personal opinion and not on any particular person)
