I had the luck to attend the show at music academy on 5th Jun 2022. It was a three hour concert. I was in the 3rd row which was very close to where Raja sir was sitting. I was totally out of the world seeing raja sir close quarters after 2 and half years. First of all thanks to the idea of blending Carnatic composition songs of Ilayaraja sir and equally interpreted by Carnatic musicians Ranjani and Gayathri for each and every song composed by Ilayaraja sir. It was a new experience and great idea. It was truly mind blowing the way it was explained technically (Carnatic music). Only a genius like ilayaraja can think of such nuances in the raagas and give us a 4 min song with complex compositions. Raja sir was there till the end of the concert watching like as if no one was there, he gave a thumps up for the show very positively and equally carnatic singers gave goosebumps in few compostions. We request such concerts should happen quite often to know the technicalities of song compostion in carnatic music raagas blended in a live full orchestration. It is really tough to think as a normal person, Ilayaraja the genius composer. We are all blessed to listen to his composition. Long live Raja sir and Kudos to Ranjani and Gayathri madam to attempt and deliver to the general public with their creativity in each song raagas. Awesome madam.

Lucky to have been there. Travelled from Kozhikode just for this. 3 hours of pure bliss. Simply brilliant, RaGa and of course seeing Raja Sir up close is something I will cherish all my life

One of its kind show it was on June 5th... The audience were spell bound and tied to to thier seats for three hours ...not an easy thing to do in this distraction filled world ..it was a fully sold out show... Packed auditorium 👏👏👏

Truly blessed to witness this magic. No words to describe this one of a kind concert. Queens of Carnatic music singing a full fledged kutcheri with the RAAJA’s compositions. Pure magic pure talent. Bow down to each one on stage.

Ilaiyaraaja only challenged himself to create music, very few like KB has used him. Today world is a worst place to appreciate talents but I visualise that in future when all comes to end, where people live in small communities with no power , boundary across the world and in night time they will only have ilaiyaraaja song along with bonfire.
