He reads the book before the guests come on his show. He doesn’t rely on his stuff feeding him what the book is about but he actually reads and asks detailed question.

didn't think I was gonna watch the entire interview but I'm glad I did. I've been married for 7years and my wife and I have been through the ups and downs of marriage. Thank you Dj Envy and Gia for sharing your problems you've encountered in your marriage. This motivates me to become a better husband and father to my wife and kids.

What a fantastic interview. I've known Envy over the years from TBC of course. He and his wife were on a few reality shows and so I never took them too seriously (no offense) What a fantastic and thought out woman. I was so proud for her, expressing herself particularly about honoring her process and timeline with reestablishing trust with Envy. Trevor did an amazing job interviewing them. I really enjoyed this as you can tell.

Love love love this conversation!! For them to be able to talk about the problem's they've had so honestly and openly is just so admirable. True vulnerability can really be so powerful because it helps not only the people who are being vulnerable but also so many other people

Great interview! I applaud DJ Envy and Gia for writing this book and being open, vulnerable and honest. This reminds me of a classroom. Often times the teacher may ask, “Any questions? Does everyone understand?” And often times students are shy or embarrassed to admit that they are struggling. Sometimes it takes just one person to raise their hand and say yes, I’m still struggling with the lesson. Then slowly others start feeling comfortable to raise their hands as well and ask for help. Lots of people go through what these two experienced but feel shame in seeking help or even talking about it. Thus this book will be helpful to so many couples. I wish the two and their family every success. PS love how DJ Envy proudly watches his wife as she speaks 😊💕

I respect them for being vulnerable and open! Also, her not basing her self-worth on the embarrassment that comes from cheating. But, they lost me at “He didn’t cheat on me, he cheated on himself” hmmm, he cheated on you, sis! Sometimes we try to be too sophisticated when simplicity should be the way!

I agree with her that he cheated on himself. He was being dishonest in trying to build up his ego with someone else and taking a chance of losing his family because if his insecurities.

Gia wasn’t the reason why he cheated. He cheated because of his insecurities so he cheated on himself, not her. “Men cheat and it doesn’t necessarily have to be because of you, it’s because of them.” Comprehension is also simplicity.

She meant that he did the disservice to himself and cheated himself from that security of being trusted. He was the loser by losing that trust through the actions he took upon his poor decision making. Why should she take that on herself.

I’ve read some excerpts from their book and they are absolutely on point and very correct about how to create a successful relationship. It speaks to who they are as people and how self aware and focused on growth they are as individuals and as a team. It’s a recommended read for those who truly want to understand how to build a lasting relationship that helps you both grow.

WOW. Just WOW. I don't know if my "WOW" is louder for the honesty, vulnerability, and REAL insight into how to work for your marriage (not make it work), or the way Trevor carries an interview! My gosh, it's difficult to carry an interview with one person, let alone two people. Insightful questions, honest answers, no one talked over each other....this was just really beautiful. Thank you.

I agree with her that they are autonomous, therefore his actions do not and should not cause embarrassment nor shame to her in any way. That said, whoever told her "he cheated on himself" is erroneously misinformed. He broke her trust and the promise they made to each other. Does the prognosis mean divorce, not for everyone. Kudos to every person who can work on their marriage post-infidelity and rebuild the relationship/trust. However, it also does not mean you "self platitude" by saying he cheated on himself. Vulnerability starts with self first, which would mean accepting for whatever reason/s, he did cheat, but it was not her fault.
