That's a very narrow time frame for a very huge catastrophic event. What patterns do you see that would lead you to come to this horrible conclusion?

In this shiur, the Rabbi refers to the ultra orthodox as "Penguins" or "Oreos", as he used to call them. It would seem uncomely at least, and perhaps Loshon Horah on an entire group to use derogatory language about any group within Klal Yisroel. Is there any justification to speak this way about any Jew, let alone a huge representative group? Or, maybe, the Rabbi maintains it's a good thing to put them down? Would one, for instance, be able to say, "hey look at that ultra orthodox penguin over there, they're all a bunch of clowns and idiots that take halacha too far"? My sense is that this kind of name calling detracts from his lecture and leaves listeners thinking this kind of rhetoric is fine.
