Thank you Rabbi Kessin for these great insights you are pointing out. They are relevant, not only to the Jewish People but to the Non Jewish world as well. I was born and raised in Germany and through the history of the Jewish People I finally understand my own history so much better than any teacher could have ever taught me. No human needs to turn to science to find proof whether Hashem exists or not. All one needs to know is Tanach and the history of the Jews. Once one figures out the probabilities for these to exist for all these thousands of years one should be overcome with the fear of Hashem, the God of Israel. Happy Purim to all.

It was 1946 which the Hebrew year date was Hoshana Rabba תש״ז . The small letters in the names of the ten sons of Haman are תש ז.

It absolutely blows my mind the hubris of those commenting to teach or correct the Rabbi!!! Only the fool doesn’t know he is foolish. A non-Jew proposing to know more about Jewish law/prophets/Torah/feasts etc than a learned Jewish Rabbi whom has dedicated his life to this. Absolutely astounding how ignorant they sound in their correctness.

What a great shiur....my experience of Purim will be forever transformed. The enlightened realization that man's attempt at creating just societal laws are not enough, are doomed to be corrupted, even if well meaning and we must fix. Only with G-d's civil laws do we achieve true justice...our rejection of the Oral Law at Mt Sinai was a fatal error...thus the necessity to accept the oral law, with love and happiness.

(min 46) These coincidences happen to me all the time, often in relation to what have just learnt recently in a Shiur, and therefore coined the term 'Shiur coincidences'. 'hashgata praktik' (divine provenience) could also be used though at times it feels like it took two to tango. There is a concept in Chassidus and another word for 'place/existence' ("mimkomo") though that includes the act of discovery (to find it). Will post when have found the word or if anyone knows?

So did all Sadducees and Samaritans in Persia accept the Oral Torah on Purim if ALL JEWS reaccepted the Torah? (I personally consider them Am Israel) And by saying 'Salvation will come..." He was in effect saying in a world without national miracles and high prophecy, salvation and redemption will no longer come from beyond (the transcendent); it will come by our own channeling of divine immanence in concert with our Higher/Metatron selves. So maybe Ester is warming us up to a human taking up the cosmic consciousness of Moshiach and leading us into Ascension; for true redemption is spiritual evolution into Olam HaBa.
