You are correct Rabbi Simon Jacobson! But other countries were being persecuted as well. Like during the Ottoman Empire when thousands of Greeks and Armenians were burned alive, tortured and beheaded. Even to this day, Christians are being persecuted, and many also killed by North Korea, Afghanistan, Yemen, and Nicaragua. Other countries where Christians face persecution to this day: Somalia, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Iran, Colombia, and Vietnam. I'm Greek and I stand with Israel, and I cry when I see innocent souls being tortured and killed, no matter what religion they follow, no matter what their skin color or ethnicity. My grandfather, may his memory be eternal, who came from Asia Minor never spoke ill about Turks even after his family where kicked out of Constantinople and moved to Greece, because not all Turks where bad. There are good and bad people in all backgrounds and it hurts me deeply when I see those who have hate for others. My grandfather put himself and his family in great danger when he hid a Jewish family in his home during the Holocaust. But this did not cause him to fear for his own life or for his family for doing good by helping anyone he could. He use to say "Everyone is welcomed in my home except one, Satan!" The real problem in this world are the unjust rulers, some Priests, Imams, and yes even Rabbi's, and last but not least, the media that spread mostly lies and cause wars and strife between us, for their own personal gain, whether it be for oil, land, or fame and fortune. I love everyone (accept pedophiles) and I cry when I see innocent souls being tortured and killed, no matter what their ethnic background, religion, or skin color. I pray every day for this evil to come to an end! May our Father in heaven bring peace and justice soon, and may His will be done on earth soon, in His own time. For Father knows best! But ending this evil is mostly up to us. We need to love one another and try to get along with each other. We need to expose the cause of evil and not support those leaders that don't really care about us, the people. Keep speaking the truth Rabbi Simon Jacobson! What’s concerning is how many Orthodox Jews talk badly about their fellow Jews who aren’t Orthodox. I was watching a rabbi talk badly about fellow Jews because those Jews are secular. I thought all Jews are sacred? What about Loshen Hara? I’m secular and was raised as a conservative Jew, but that rabbi I watched wasn’t the only rabbi to talk badly about Jews like me because I’m not Orthodox (or at least not yet since I’ve been on a Jewish spiritual journey for 2+ years.) I thought Loshen Hara isn’t allowed? It’s just very upsetting because I’m embracing my Judaism, even if it’s secular for now, by learning more and more about the Torah almost everyday. It just feels so defeating when you hear rabbis talking badly about their fellow Jew.

B'H Rabbi. Thank you for the explanation about the view of Jews towards non-Jews. I am from The Netherlands and as you know we did not play the most beautiful role in WWII. Recently I was on business trip in England for a multiple training and I spoke with a Jewish lady. It was half way October 23. She lifted-up a tip of the curtain that resembles what you just talked about in this video. She had a two sided view of The Netherlands. Heroes and traitors. Actually, the first time I could step in the shoes of the Jews trough the shoes of this lady What I want to accomplish, and I see this as my transcended purpose on earth, to show that there is no need to create new religions, because despite that our ancestors did not accept the Torah, it does not mean that G-d left the rest of the world. Before the Torah human kind had the Seven Universal Laws, which are mentioned in Genesis. These Noahide laws are not annihilated, they are still valid. May this at least speed-up in spreading the knowledge of G-d until “No one shall destroy or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of God as the waters cover the sea.”

How about when we look at the social media posts from IDF soldiers who say that Palestinians are less than human and every one of them must be driven from Israel or killed? Unfortunately, there are some of us who speak Hebrew and are able to hear and translate what they are saying. They say the same thing about Palestinians in Gaza as they do in the West Bank. This is very disturbing for someone who is considering converting to Judaism to hear them say.
