Listening to this interview reveals what a truly enlightened person Reb Zalman was. Why this interviewer was on a mission to put him down, I don't know. But he answered all of her negatively oriented questions in a way that brought insight, expansion and positivity back into the space. Bless you, Reb Zalman, your legacy is great.
When the Rabbi says that as a teenager, he was frustrated during Passover that no one explained things like why are we not allowed to eat bread is essentially the essence of the Pesach RASH who questions the meaning of the chag. I don't know who his teachers were, but something is off here.
@@pinchasreich7773 You are missing his point. He was taught by the best teachers of the day. His path was to accept the human aspect of a person and without rejecting or suppressing that, still return to God and live in God-centered consciousness. He expressed his human experience honestly, but many people can't handle that, mostly if they are repressing theirs.
@@SingingPupRecords Thats all fine and good. but the Rabbi's termonology implies it's ok to have a crush on your male teacher. If you respect the Torah, you can't legitimize homosexuality. The Torah is unequivocal about it. It's just as immoral as sleeping with a married person.
