Like my buddy said, it starts with a crust of pizza, but you’ll be supporting him within a week. Raccoon aren’t going to stop being aggressive if you feed them.
My backyard pet raccoons love pizza, Mac n cheese, oatmeal cookies, cat food, hot dogs.... ask me how I know. 😂 (My channel has a video with 15 mins of a raccoon enjoying mac n cheese up close for anyone who feels deprived of a chance to see a raccoon enjoy a treat, lol)
Plus the poor little 🦝 is so skinny! I have huge 🦝 in my backyard at night, no food back there though, but they don't look hungry like this little skinny cutie!
if austin gives the crust to the racoon then he will keep coming back for more and then eventually siege your backyard just for some little scraps of food with friends and family

You DO NOT want these clever animals to start associating your home with food....A few years ago I fed one hungry racoon some chips I had, then the next day 3 racoons were outside my porch...and as time went by more and more were waiting in my porch waiting to be fed until I had to be stern and keep chasing them all away I dont know how but they have a way of communicating to each other where a place for food is...

The question is, why do you care? There’s no implicit things where we HAVE to feed any animals nearby. Do you also go to the animal shelters and provide food or the soup kitchen? Cuz if you don’t, by ur own logic, YOURE AN ASS

This raccoon approached you in broad daylight, and literally tried to take food off your plate. The raccoon may not speak English, but it's loud and clear that he was starving. You could have given him your crust or a slice of bread or anything. He's asking for help and you run him off. What kind of jerk will start preaching to someone that's starving? I'm sorry raccoon; you asked the wrong human for help.
Maybe it was a female also. Trying to get something back to her babies or to keep for herself so she would have the strength needed to take care of her babies... Never know for sure and this moron is acting like the poor thing can go get a job and literally get on the phone and order it's own. I hope something like this happens to him one day or even if he has kids one of them asks a stranger for something it really wants not understanding not to and gets the same kind of treatment. Which would be awful because I love children. I'm just saying to teach him is all.

He needs understand that he built his house on the raccoons land and rerouted his water tributaries and now he can't find food, so he came up sweetly trying to ask you for a little bit of food, when I wish you would have tore your throat out for cutting off his food supply...js🤷🏻
This is so not so. Raccoons have no choice but to infringe on peoples food due to the lack of their own food. Scavenging is what they do, and this little one will not cozy up to a person because it got food. A person is the last thing it's wants to do
He didn't look too scrawny. It was a juvenile male and some of them get *very* brave around that age. And no, the crust wouldn't have hurt the raccoon. They can eat almost anything.
I feed a couple also at work. We keep distance lol but they know if they dont growl at me i will toss them a granola bar or trail mix lol. Now i get chirps and hands out stretched 😅. They seem to know me from others. I have asked my co-workers and they dont go near the others or even show up on my days off which is fine with me lol.

I can KINDA understand why he wouldn’t give him the slice. If a human feeds a wild animal, they might possibly learn to not be so defensive around them and possibly approach humans on a more regular basis.
it's mental tough not to fall in love with this adorable racoon and feed him, but it's the right way to treat them. imagine what happens if you feed him every day and he lost fear of human and someday a big dog is near by and this altercation doesn't end good.....

Well if you give raccoons unlimited food you’re gonna be it's servant and you don’t need me telling you it’s an impossible task to satisfy their demands
You can't just give the animal food, no matter how cute it is. This would encourage it to beg from people, and would probably end badly for the poor racoon. Same reason you never feed a stray cat. Before long you'll have 20 raccoons on your deck waiting to be fed.
When people take their environment Away by building so damn much around the area and they have nowhere else to find food really you can't feed an animal when it's hungry. If you were hungry and didn't have any money I guess we wouldn't feed you
