OMG you got me into fpv drone freestyle thank you so much even though we are only kids we fly drones for fun I just got an eachine wizzard x220 arf for Christmas even though I don't think you will see this

We would tend to agree with you. :)

IMO, mixing outdoors and indoors on each track would be ideal; indoor areas can introduce some interesting obstacles and trajectories, and the rush of seeing solid surfaces moving past all around is quite nice. And besides the more comprehensive experience, it would also allow different pilots to shine in different areas of expertise.

the Outdoor is better than just inside stadium. The scenery and the view is clear. I can't see well inside stadium because because the chair or viewer distract me

That was insane, really!

He's absolutely insane. His smoothness and control is just on another level. If he could just find two more people like him, they'd dominate every race.

Phew, disagree! All I could think was: for the love of God, please put up all the pilots feeds at once!!! That, or let someone like Colby Curtola decide what we see and when to cut to different feeds. I loved the series, but the production value on the racing was a C- at best

This format has been very successful for us. To LeninFPV’s note below, we also release the 4-screen versions of the races here on RU-vid so others can see it as the judges do on track. Both are great ways to watch, though we see the single camera version as the best way to present the races to the mass audience.

Thank you - and we agree that as good as we have done, we still have a long way to go. There are always ways in which to improve.

@@DR1Racing Maybe for the big distant parts, you could invest in some robotic camera gymbals that lock on the video and/or telemetry signal of the drones and keep a strong telephoto lens following them? And maybe require the drones to have some good retroreflective stickers all around and have some laser or spotlight attached to the cameras to light them up from a distance?

Visibility of which drone is which goign through gates is very poor and too quick, maybe eliminate those shots they're not telling a story and adding to confusion.

@@DR1Racing Maybe like a split screen with each racer next to his position in the race or fpv during the race would make it easier to follow the race.

@@DR1Racing Also maybe a drone or drones which are flying next to other drones a film drone to keep a consistent view of the racing drones so you can see the entirety of the race. I think this is a solution especially since the racing drones dont carry hd cameras right?

When you're sponsored it doesn't matter. I run 6s on some 2300kv motors they rip like hell but don't last long

6S just means its 22V. The motor speed is whats important and you can get that by using less cells, higher KV. And as someone else pointed out, more power means less flight time and also fewer cycles from your battery and electronics.

Not as many as you would think.compared to the 2017 season. Around 20-30, which is impressive given the obstacles.

We are going to hold classes for the pilots on how to do that prior to next season.
