My father had a Black one ! WTC635 . He was a Vicar , so wearing Black most of the time . Bought it from A&B motors at Newton Le Willows Happy memories . 22 years tomorrow since he died . Never forgotten!
Bloody hell I had no idea an A35 could go like that, AWESOME!! My dad had a couple of the van types with windows and back seats and they were super reliable and long lived. One of them did 475k
Just a tad quicker than our family A35 that we had back in the early 1970s. Great to see this little car charging up the hill with that snarly engine tone
I put a 1275 plue print twin su carbs set up from a morris marina in a A35 van back in the 80s for a friend 😆 it went like a batt out off hell 😆...thats a nice car well set up for hill climbs 😉...youst to go to a lot off em in the go old days bikes carts cars 😊...hi from ireland...😄
Hello from Australia, I can see from other comments you're running a hot 1275 bored out and midget gearbox with 3.7 LSD. What have you done suspension wise to get it handling this well? Would like to build my A30 into something similar.
@@fsmlittler Yup...many years ago, we built an 1800 for an MGB,, bored, balanced, blueprinted..and we used a big Weber carb, aluminum intake, ported and flowed the head, larger valves. and used an Isky cam and kit. Of course, a tube header was fitted....that thing flat WAILED.....
