Hello and welcome to my channel, in this vlog I modify a Fiesta MK6 race car dashboard to have some carbon fibre cnc machined vent blanks installed and some recessed custom gauge pods smoothed in. Enjoy and thank you for watching
For this dash I only had to adjust the voltage to allow the flock to miss the faraday effect but on deeper recesses I use an air assisted machine as when the recess is too deep the charged flock just tries to earth to the nearest part of the dash instead of the back of the recess as you say. Do plastic and foam backed vinyl charge both charge easily? Are there attaching points that you've noticed work better on either one, or is it just as easy as clipping on to the dash somewhere? Thx
