Extreme difficulty? When I played did it was on Ninja difficulty if I remeber right. Being the first time I seen Le Mans in a race game the 14 y/o me had a hard time winning the race but I did it.

I really try to explain why the lighting in Grid looks so good and somehow superior to all the other grid version. I can't really find. You guys have explanations?

Really? I found the lighting in 2 to be better. 1 has that yellow-ish filter games used to have at the time.

@@starshape6650 Well grid2 has very good lighting, but grid1 looks more like a movie, more like an immersive experience. But yeah for sure I think autosport and grid 2019 have boring lighting

Also to notice the User inteface of grid 1 and ingame- results panels react to game lighting. Perhaps this is why grid 1 looks like more immersive lighting wise. Grid2 has a more flat "vector illustrator web-app" ish User interface, and it could be the reason the game looks more artificial.

@@OptLab Yeah codies did stop with the 3D "in-world" UI since DiRT3, they probably though it wasn't necessary. That said I do like how in grid 2 events are selected through a in-game screen, it definitely helps with the immersion. 1 and 2 definitely went for a more stylized aesthetic than Autosport and especially GRID 2019, which go for a more realistic look.

@@starshape6650 I see. Though we can argue what looks more "realistic" lighting, a tv reporting or news program would look like autosport, and a a movie like Fast and furious would look like grid1/2 But it's about mood. In order to make a movie like Fast and furious, you also need realistic lighting, but there is more contrasts, more drama, more color lights. I don't like Fast and furious, but it's just to give an example, it could be other movies.

***** Most of the Extreme difficult is only Extreme when you want your teammate to finish on the "Sponsor" positions, otherwise it's massively easy xD Ninja as well tbh xD
