That's not correct installation. It's a top-lock clamp. Manual says to torque top bolts first, then adjust handlebar, then torque two bottom ones. So there should be no gap on top.

Well , after two years , you regret the carbon handlebar ?? I mean , you have any issues because of lack of the paste or the not used the torque wrench at the install ??

What type of screws does the stem use?

Hi i have the same stem but it was installed the other way around. I mean the one that has the yellow sticker on top was at the bottom. Is that fine??

I think you need to add a spacer on the top of the stem and remove from the bottom. I found this online. Yes, you need a spacer above the stem clamp on a bicycle to allow the top cap to push down on the stem. The spacer should extend at least 3 millimeters above the clamp. If the stem or spacers are flush with or below the steer tube, it will be impossible to adjust the headset.

You have to have carbon paste between the stem and handlebars, without it your stem won't clamp onto the bars and they will spin. Carbon paste is essentially grease with small plastic particles in it which gives the aluminum something to grab onto. Nice video, love the bars and stem!

Did you take the right screws off and put in your right pocket and vise versa on the left side for a reason?

Your headset it’s going to be loose as a goose the top cap takes the slack out you don’t touch the side bolts until you’ve secured the Cap little bit to take the slack out duh 🙄

Hey man! How do you like the 40mm stem vs the 35mm the bike came with? Did you notice much difference? I'm trying to decide whether I want to go with a 40 or stick with the 35. Same bike btw!
