Here in Michigan, MX tracks are almost always prepped/watered before a hare scramble.

Great video dude. That dust off the start was rough. Glad once you hit the woods it eased up. Looked like some tight and steep stuff. And to answer your question about mx track prep for offroad races. No, never. It is typically left in what ever dryed out rutted state it was from the last race or practice.

I race in the southeast in the Mideast and North Carolina HS series and I don't think I've ever seen a prepped track. We don't see too many tracks in general though.

Hey Donny, I just recently was at a hair scramble hosted by a local mx track here in district 23 (ARMCA). And yes, they were good enough to water the mx section of the track. The entire woods section did not need it as we got enough moisture ahead of time anyway, but it was definitely nice to have the track watered down. Its probably true that this varies from track to track based on who owns and operates the property... I'm not sure. Thanks for the cool channel, I enjoy your videos.

I see moto tracks mostly in the SXCS and US Sprint Enduro series. I have found the condition of the moto tracks will vary largely due to the initiative of the property owners. You are correct that the crew is usually too thin to prioritize the moto track. So unless the owners step in to help out the moto track won't get as much attention as it would if the owner were putting on a motocross only event. That said, Billy Schlagg and the Trail Pros crew (shameless plug) groom as necessary to make a very nice race. This past Hangover Hare Scramble was at Wicomico Motosports Park where owner does not help out with the moto track. The jump faces were in really bad shape and I was considering not racing because of it. Billy came in with the skid-steer at the last minute and groomed all the faces. The moto track ended up being the most secure and predictable portion of the course! I really enjoy your videos and hope to be able to race with you one day!

I've raced in the north and in the south and they never prep the mx tracks for us woods racers. I don't mind just another challenge to overcome ! It would be nice tho

Great video Donnie! Everyone I talked to in C-class was talking about the double jump on the track. With all the dust a lot of people where coming up short and getting hurt. Kevin Smith in C40 sprain both ankles in first lap and a lot of people where nearly crashing on it. I wish the MX track owners would detour everyone around the doubles. Most of us have our suspension set up to soft for jumps anyway.

That dang Clint just will not quit , he's like an ex wife that just won't go away 😂😂😂
