I got a GSXR1000R, I have racefit exhaust black carbon edition, and yeah its too loud, had to use the diffusor, and its still loud. My head vibrates if i remove the diffusor. I am only 32. Your bike is awesome. May be my next bike.
I have the same fitted on the Speed Triple RS - sounds absolutely amazing even with the cat in. And power increase is noticeable as well along with a DNA filter.

That exhaust is not as good as the stock. Its louder, but you'll lose hp on the high end, run hotter temps because your trapping more heat near the midpipe/header. It might look cool, sound louder, but those shorty pipes are shit compared to the stocker or a Arrow Pista.
Ive been thinking to get one for my ‘23 CBR RR. I do like the sound of OEM exhaust at lower RPM and love it when the servo motor unleashes the screams post 5k RPM. Still thinking if I want it loud all the time. What do you think?
I purchased my 2018 CBR1000RR a year ago and found myself in your same situation, I installed a short slip-on which was so annoying that I actually started thinking of pedestrians and other drivers at stoplights, I shortly went for a longer slip-on to lower the noise but that was annoying too. I finally settled with OEM exhaust and removed the servo cables, it sounds much better now. Don't get me wrong, I like loud bikes, but in city driving it's just not sustainable. I recommend installing a loud slip-on only when hitting the track.
