This is (somewhat surprisingly to me) a substantial upgrade. I feel like I have bought something new for my rig -- without having to spend anything on it! Having the wheelbase blink red (or whatever colour one chooses) when the ABS kicks in is a useful visual cue that can be considered an actual performance enhancement -- it's the next best thing to having real Invicta ABS (which is coming soon, right?! :) ). The flags are also now easier to see when the whole wheel (optionally) lights up (instead of just the dedicated flag LEDs). Btw, I thought at first that my wheelbase and pedal LEDs were malfunctioning, until I figured out that it was the "Input" function messing me up -- I'd have that one off by default. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Looking forward to trying the flag/spotter LED’s, currently run my Forte wheel base and Invicta pedals without any LED’s. My biggest feature request is automatic profile switching dependant on the sim, the only thing I miss from previously being a Fanatec user
Thank you very much! Being able to create a plateau in brake pressure isn't as useless as you might have thought. I'm doing this in the real world for brake testing in the automotive industry. So with this function available for me in the sim, I'm able to do brake testing with different amounts of brake pressure (for example to test different brake pads or balance or influence of temperature) which his highly repeatable. 👍
Yeah, I'm playing in VR. Don't care anything at all about the LEDs. But, starting a game where I need a profile limited to like 6nm after forgetting to change from my default iRacing profile which is setup with a max force of 27 is not only inconvenient, it can be dangerous.
Bravo Mr. Brandt! The integration of telemetry with visual-cue functionality is what I've been hoping for so this is a wish come true. The part where the light strip on the pedal base lights up gradually corresponding to the pedal travel took me by surprise and I was thinking to myself with a big ass grin on my face that this is cool AF! Encore!!!
If you choose the RPM lights to start from center instead left to right it would be nice to have different buttons for the shape in the bottom left corner below the RPM sliders. Like a button for a V shape with different degrees of climb. And the possibility to transfer the slider settings to the other wheels. Different Profiles or something
I would still like to have manual pedal pressure adjustment in percent and the ability to create different profiles for the pedals. I hope this feature makes it to 5.0 at the latest
Well, this is a great update. however, will it be possible to make these LED features available for the La Prima steering wheel (and La Prima button box)? For exemple, La Prima could display the car assists on the buttons lights. I'm a little disappointed by this to be honest. 😟
Would it be possible to enter values into the pedal calibration? For example, if i had it set at 60%, but wanted to fine tune it, i could just modify that number instead of trying to press just a little bit harder etc?
At the moment I'd recommend pressing as hard as you feel like you're ever gonna want to brake, and the use the top deadzone to adjust your max input down from there.
After using 3.0 for a while there are a few requests I have. First, please make the spotter option customizable because the way the led lights travels up and down the base is confusing when it is not in my direct line of vision on the track. I need to be able to understand it without looking directly at it. The flashing is confusing. We need a custom option to allow us to make solid on or off so it is useful. We need custom options for all flags and options in terms of length of time they are on, and the colors we want. Mixed colors that are not in direct line of sight are hard to understand. Please give us custom options so we can maximize the capability.
At the moment yes. But the system is modular in nature with the new implementation, so it is possible for us to create different graph types in the future if there is enough demand for it.
I really appreciate how clean, organized and to the point racehub is. Thank you for keep improving. Now, what I (and most of us) really want is a Per Game/Per Car profile. (Fanalab Style) If the software can auto-detect the car, even better. Any estimate on that?
I have an upgraded la prima base and I don't have the option to change my static color for my pedals. Kind of BS. All other LED features work. Wish you would quality test your software on all your products before you release it. Now my LEDs are missmatched and looks absolutely stupid.
We have identified the issue and have implemented a fix. It will be included in the first hotfix which we expect to release next week. Apologies for the inconvenience.
@asetek. Someone needs to make a steering wheel setup for paralyzed drivers….. my nephew was a pro motorcycle racer, paralyzed 2 years ago in a race. He wants to sim race, but no one makes anything for para drivers…….. Help?
It's a great idea. We already have some racers with disabilities who are able to use our gear. You can try asking in our community Facebook groups for specific settings and experiences with setting it up.
