Great video. I've been hoping they will eventually come out with a can bus translator between the dominator and the smart wire. I think it would be killer.... I'm beginning my camero build soon and this combo is already in the cart on the holley site. Just waiting to pull the trigger until I have the engine back from the machine shop.
@@mstang61 i don't believe he runs the coils on smartwire. He uses the MSD 4 output solid state relay for fuel pump and coils because they are high amp draw and would require a good portion of the smartwires output.
Can you just fly out to my shop and wire my LS swap for me? I know it’s probably insanely simple but I keep panicking and over thinking everything lol. Love your content but this wiring shit is scary. Haven’t even been able to run my big gauge stuff yet because I end up confusing myself at the last second. Lol
Its the brake sensor. Once the sensor senses brakes it tells the smartwire to light the brake lights. The ECU is designed to work with sensors to provide an output trigger where as the smartwire is not designed to work with sensors. Two different types of logic and programming used
