Great video! Much appreciated! Now for the extra dumb like myself, or maybe not dumb but I was always an old school carburetor guy and I knew how to tune my stuff really well, now it’s all trying to learn a new language. I understand quite a bit of what your explaining but I’m not sure where to find the info like injector size and things like that. It’s a sniper 4150 so it’s nothing custom, but for the first time trying to do this it’s a little scary. I have been one of those guys that just got a bad system from the start. I just got my system back from Holley AGAIN, and it’s running like crap! I really need to get this done but am a little worried about diving in.

I’ve became a subscriber. Nice videos. I’m having an issue with my car with a Holley Sniper. Let’s say I take off from a dead stop normally and keep the gas pedal at 25% TPS steady through the gears. When the car shifts to the second gear (automatic transmission) it leans momentarily. The same thing happens from second to third gear. I’m a kind of lost on how to fix it. Any help will be welcome.

Thank you for giving a brief description of an input and an output. It was recently suggested that my son toss the factory ECU and install a Terminator X in a 2000 Mustang 4.6L with an On3 Performance 70mm turbo. I think there are fuel pressure sensors, oil pressure sensors, coolant temp sensor, air temp sensor, O2 sensor, and whatever else is typical in one of these cars. I'm not sure if the limited inputs for the Terminator X will accommodate all of the sensors. Any advice? Thank you.

TY for the great videos, looking forward to learning more in the Trilogy. My Q - I want to detune this "hot 5.3 with a monster cam" since I've never had any kind of power in my little 240sx. Do I understand this correctly that the only thing I need to do to lower the rev limiter to 5k from the base @ 6800 is to I put that value in 'main over-rev" ? I don't needbneed a launch or "2 step" function ATM just to dial it back. TY!

On closed loop/learn - do you need to wait until fuel graph is totally populated? Or can this be done at any time?

One of these days I am going to get my HP system running on my car. I plan on putting this stuff to use! I have some FAST experience, so I figure that will help some.

Can someone tell me....so to use a holley air intake nanigold do we have to also use this computer set up also to set it up ? And do we need to use one of their ecu ? Can I use my existing ecu ? Can I not just install the holley intake and re tune the car to get it running ? Advice is needed thanks

Good stuff. I’m going to add a Sniper 2300 to my 72 Pinto 2.0EOA and then later use it for a 2.3T I’m building. Maybe later if I build a SBC or LS I can learn more about how to utilize the software.

I have been trying to figure out what ecu system to use to upgrade my 89 Tuned port injection system. Is terminator X the right system? I spent 30 minutes on hold with Holley and never got a human being to talk to. It’s just a street car that might see mild upgrades. Any advice would be great ..

Hey Joe. I'm building a mild N/A lq4 with full floating rods and flat top pistons keeping the stock cathedral port heads with a btr truck norris cam with upgraded valve springs and comp 1.72 roller rockers. Should I be afraid of catastrophic failure with the Holley self tuning?

Holley sniper 510 i think... I have a 496 stroker engine. Coil and no power adders...The car was already tuned when i bought it and all of a sudden it did not want to stay running. it would die at idle. I tried to adjust the idle screw and now it is idling at 1100 to 1200. ..i wanted to get it down but i don't know what is common for this engine. it doesn't sound to lopy when it idles so i think the cam is mild. Any advice on tuning it. would a terminator X be better?

I have a Sniper system on a 511 stroker. Ever since installing the Sniper I have no crank issues when the motor is above 170 degrees. Before Sniper it didn't matter what temp it was. I now have two 900CCA optimas and still will not turn over when it is hot. Multiple clean grounds, 0 gauge wires, high torque mini starter, wrapped headers and blanket on the starter. Totally out of ideas.....

How come my sniper 550-510 has injector flow rate at 100lb ?? Car run great at idle but still working on warmup. That’s for your time .

Seen loads of efi systems for big motors... have you ever tried on tiny motors? I see that Holly has an 1100 autolite unit.. think with a smaller duty cycle injector a person could use it on a 660cc japanese motor?

Im looking into this for a BBC im building. Can you tune these to be consistent in bracket racing? I would like to use 112 for street use and alchohol for racing + nitrous for heads up. You seem very knowledgeable with these systems.

Did you have to prune, cut and remove connectors on this Holley Ford small block Terminator universal harness to make this fit?. Or did you just leave harness as is and ziptie out of the way? My tech said he charges another $500 to prune, cut, and remove not used connectors and wires to make it fit nice on my 68 Mustang, or he can just keep harness as is and ziptie out of the way. Just curious what you did. Personally i dont like cutting anything on a new Harness period.
