Good review. Question I have though, why do we always hear about some of the bad things about the previous bikes when the new one comes out, but they are never mentioned at the time when that bike was new?
Greco Conduris so true! Everywhere you read the 18s ktm is so perfekt and now the 19 is here and they mention transmission problems, bad seats, problems with the shape of plastics (little wide...), you will never find that in last years review.
It's probably hard to notice "bad" things about a brand new bike until you compare it a year later with a new and "improved" bike. That's when you might notice something about the previous bike was worse.
Nico189 they didn’t say they had bad transmissions. He said the pankl is better. He didn’t say the shrouds were wide, he said the new ones had less of a notch. You’re putting words in his mouth. Bikes get a little better each year and it’s not always a super noticeable improvement each year, but it sure is over 5 years or 20.
It is probably because when you are on the new years model you find things that are better in some areas then the previous year. Like last year when the 18's came out he probably did not notice that notch on the shrouds because they were improved from the 17's, and now that they are slimmer it is a noticeable difference. It is not necessarily that it is a bad thing it is just an improvement that he picked up on and noticed between the two.
It's always the same, new ktm comes out with a black frame, then the next years it will have an orange frame so everybody needs to buy the better looking bike later 😁
Palmer Boorman orange frames are shit ugly but they are for the final year of each generation. 2015 orange frame and last of that gen. Black frame 16 and new gen bike. 18 last of that gen and gets an orange frame, 19 is the first of the new gen frames and back to black
