You mean like they used to have. Ya I agree 125 should be the feeder class and allow guys to stay in 250 longer so its more competitive like the 450 class. Also let 250 2 strokes race in the 250 class and up to 325 2 strokes in the 450 class.
Aiden Tijero must have laid down a stellar last two laps because he pulled away after the half way signal. I think i was more excited to see this than the other races.
For all the 4 stroke fans. Notice he cleared EVERY SINGLE JUMP. .. That means higher corner speeds to clear the Junius that 4 strike make readily. 4 strokes are like cheating, and they make you lazy.
vetb882 Yep I admit that all day long. I run vet class all day long on that big 450 just so I can not have to carry so much corner speed and if I decide to do a jump last minute.
They really need to have a pro line up of 125's like McGrath , bubba, reedy, Lamson, dungey emig etc, but all on there 125 that they raced on last in there careers now that would be all time!
I like the idea. Did Reed ever race a 125 tho? Or straight to the yz250f? I know I saw a video of him and pastrana racing in Australia and he was on a kx250 2t, idk about a 125 tho
Nothing wrong with Garmin. This video is not highly edited like the GoPro videos with all the image stabilizer nonsense that make it look like they are on a roller coater ride.
Lol sorry but i got the hero 2, doesnt have any stabilizer and still records perfectly. ... And people were always complaining that gopro didnt have stabs...that was 5 years ago
First off thanks ,some of the best perspective I have seen, and the best riding on film I have seen. The one thats got me fired up is,if Im Decoster Ryan would be my guy, period ,just a thought ?
nik mxforever I’m not a Tomac fan, but when he’s on fire he is untouchable! I was at San Boyd a few weeks ago and saw him house the competition. He floats through all of the sections effortlessly (that’s what it looks like at least lol)
Westopher6, Tomac looks good but Villapoto doesn't screw around with guys if they are next to him, he blows their doors off. Eli will back down like a little baby.
Cameron Martens I’m not saying there bad, I live yz125s and i have multiple friends that have them and there awesome but they just haven’t changed in a while
You know, no matter how much you want two strokes will always be lighter than any other four stroke in size similarity. There will always be a two stroke rider in the crowd. Good luck to anyone one on their upcoming races!😉
The CR was junk, the RM was the bad boy for years, till 98 when Yamaha put a ton of R&D into their bikes putting them on top of the 125 world. Honda didn't spend a bunch of time on it's smaller bikes.
DA 241 was on a 2001 CR125 at this race. Not sure how he did but last year on the same bike he had 2 top 5 finish! It's not all about the bike but more the rider and how badass they are!! 💪👊✊
In my opinion Ricky Carmichael and Aldon Baker ruined the sport by making it too serious. I understand why, and I do not blame either for making the choice they did, however I feel like moto before all the intense training, and lame podium speeches, was far more entertaining.
Ty Ree420 Are you serious he got 3rd, and I am sure wasnt out there too prove anything. That's like saying Ricky Carmichael is a has been, their retired bro.
First of all! He don't ride 125 all week long. Secondly he got 2nd. Third he does this for fun. 4th had he snagged the holeshot, he would have ran away with it.
Scott Mcfarlane we’re talking about a 4 time sx champion and 2 time national champion. I expected better from him as I did when he went to Australia and he got smoked there too. I still like RV don’t get me wrong but he should of been lapping those guys ,he has before I know he doesn’t train like he used to either so I’ll give him that excuse.
Jay Smith I wouldn’t call the GOAT a has been he still pisses Excellence and red bull everyday. The guy is one of a kind. A better analogy would be saying McGrath or Stewart is a has been. all of those guys are but they still shred pretty decent like you saw above^
