All she literally has to do is just say she's white but adores black culture. My problem isn't that she's identifying with Black culture, my problem is that she's a big liar.
I don’t. They brought all of this on themselves. They did it as revenge on her, not because they thought it was right. I’m not saying what she did was right at all, and we know the many, many, many reasons why. But I found her parents weird, too. They are all suspect, IMHO.
This is pretty crazy! I’m married to a hispanic man, I’m white, this doesn’t give me a free pass to change my race to Mexican American no matter how good my tamales are! 🤣🤣
NO? Why Not - If it is a Law that a Boy who identifies as a girl MUST be called a Girl then if a White person wants to be Black FAIR IS FAIR - if Gender is Fluid So is RACE & Anything Else
I can tell from those early photos that she can't tan at all. She using some type of skin cream only on her face, neck, upper chest, and hands. I'm certain that after she washes her hands, that cream is applied immediately. She would never be seen in a t-shirt because it would mean that she would have to apply a lot more of that skin cream.
The major issue for me is the benefits she received that were meant for black people as she paraded and charaded around as a black person. She went to college on a scholarship meant for black people and she accepted a job as an NAACP chapter leader, which was meant for minorities. She took from a people who are already low on the totem pole.
Mariah Baker 😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 its crazy whilst we facing racism ppl are choosing when and where to be black , she's just a funny lady you literally have to laugh 😩😩
I know right, I mean there are a few photos where she does look black (0:26 most of all, even though this photo is deceptive because of the light effect which makes her look black), but most of the time her orange tan and pale blue eyes betray her.
being black isn't a trend you know she's a good artist ill give you that but for you to try to say your black all together is really dumb we get it you want to be a black goddess , African Queen and a Nubian princess but really...
I’m sitting here with my newborn thinking to myself “well if these perfectly normal parents can still have Rachel dolezal for a kid, it can happen to anyone”. I hope my son doesn’t turn out to be a weirdo despite my best efforts lol
according to the documentary her parents are or hadn't been as "perfectly normal" as they are dipicted in their two sentences of screen time. I recommend researching deeper than one interview or one video-reportage
@@nikolaantolkovic8950 none of us grew up “normal” or had great parents . We are humans beings and keep fucking up our children no matter how good your intentions are to raise a good human being
@@rancorious7785 i'd rather my child be transracial than transgender where they're mutilating their body and taking irreversible hormone treatments and endless surgeries which will never cure their illness.
The thing is they only called her out to discredit her because her older biological brother abused his siblings and molested her younger foster sister for years and the family knew. Rachel was going to testify on her sister’s behalf but her testimony means nothing now. That family is just toxic..
@@redfishswimming On top of that, there are observable differences between the groups regarding intell igence (intentional misspelling), future time orientation, impulsiveness, and civilization-building. And no amount of screaming about what a baaaaaad person i am will change that.
"She certainly has lived the Black experience" ummm no. The only way to live "the Black experience" is to be a Black person, and experience your life through that lens. Wanting to be Brown or Black or liking the aesthetic of Brown or Black women is not the same as magically knowing how it is to be a POC
Deerwoman L'nu Trujillo the “black experience” is a cultural mindset. I am biracial but can’t say I’ve lived the typical “black experience” because I was raised with an entirely different mindset. Africans come here and can’t relate at all to the American “black experience.” Why? Because it’s is a cultural mindset that most black Americans are raised with. You can have black skin yet not be raised in this Mindset or relate to it at all.
Cliff Trainor I'm an elephant matriarch white irish\english 🐢 and actually view myself as a ladybird beautiful black earring! thanks for listening! no hate 😎😎
Imagine having bought some of her art for over $10,000 before all of this came to light. Dear god that has to be devastating. Her art can’t be worth more than $100 now.
mrs davenport don’t feel sorry for them, they abused her and her siblings-whom they are all estranged from-it’s no wonder she turned out the way she did.
Wouldn’t feel sorry for them one bit... 😒They did what they did out of vengeance and sold their story to the media for money. Regardless of what she did, they knew they were destroying her life. It’s no wonder she’s messed up... look where she came from.
The only difference between this and Clayton is noone ever told Clayton he was black. Society told Clayton he was white, and that blacks were bad, thus black KKK member. Rachel told herself she was black. Now I think she knew/knows she's not. But I'm going to guess that there is some kind of trauma in her that made this black identity more palatable than the truth of whatever happened to her. This doesn't feel like fraud. It feels like a person hiding behind a front because they're afraid to show something real for some reason.
For all those who are trashing Rachel's parents - you do realize you're trashing them for being honest?? Rachel foolishly used a public platform to lie about her upbringing. By saying she: . ♦ Grew up poor in South Africa living in a teepee ♦ Hunted with bows & arrows for food ♦ Was abused by her stepfather ♦ Was abused by her mother because she was Black ♦ Her Black father was "forced to flee the Deep South after assaulting a White police officer" ♦ Her "father served in the Marines for 24yrs & 3 attempts were made on his life by White subordinates" ♦ "White supremacy groups in North Idaho burglarized every home they ever lived in". ♦ And countless other lies . . . It was only natural the press would search for the parents. Who are these people that lived this alternative lifestyle, were continually targeted by racial hate crimes, & who had abused poor Rachel! Rachel disowned every friend & family member she knew wouldn't lie for her but she got so comfortable lying she forgot her family had the integrity to tell the truth! Anyone who is condemning the parents for saying "Yes we are her biological parents" also needs to condemn Albert Wilkerson for saying "No, I'm not her father"! ETA: Rachel was married in 2000 but her husband divorced her 4yrs later claiming she was a pathological liar & was brainwashing / poisoning their son against him. Surprised??!!
@@hadbetterdays8118 but she doesn’t even look black she looks like she just has a tan, she can probably pass getting black around white people but that’s where it stops
@@h27764 except she took a job at the NAACP, taking away a job with power from an authentic Black person, and she was in a position where she was making decisions on behalf of Black people!! This is so sick it makes my stomach hurt
yes this was so funny to me why would u wanna go through all the things I go through as a black women on the daily. I wish I could just say im white and everybody believes it
guys OMG why are u people thinking she lying OMG my hormones are buzzing with trigger warning AHHHHHHHHHHHH fuck me fuck the retards oops i mean mentally challenged cause ima democrat who is fake as fuck.
funny? that she scammed the government out of benefits because she claims to be a minority as black? Not funny. that means that someone that actually needed the benefits and is really black did not get the help. Not funny at all
Lileevine it doesn't mean the world to them, they have just realized that now they can manipulate society because to call them silly is "politically incorrect"
Tare Suriel yes standards are low and they also have black privilege which consist of so many things I can't even list them but just to name a few jobs before anybody else government handouts government grants school grants
And now we have Oli London, an adult englishman who "transitioned to korean" by making a plastic surgery that narrows his eyes. @@chesterdonnelly1212 wow brilliant argumentation, solid reference : are you a child (in which case great parallel) or a complete imbecile ? In which case do keep your juvenile analysis to yourself, thanks.
While I haven't fully decided what I think of Rachel Dolezal and her identity as "transracial", I can see some of why she rejected the way she grew up. It is sad that her parents would do an interview with reporters to talk trash about their own daughter. Even if my child did something truly disgraceful, I would never sit down with a reporter with the purpose of talking bad about my own child. There just isn't much room for love in a family dynamic like that.
Gets everything that she wants by acting like she is a black women yet we still have to hear about all this bs kaper-dick talk about oppression from a shitty ass has-been millionaire QB who has had everything handed to him his entire life, but now that he figured out that his time as a shitty QB was coming to an end he had to find a way to stay in the spot light
Wrong, years after all this went down, she still support blacks and have adopted more black kids. She never begged for her old job back nor did she apologized for how she felt. She stood her ground all this time.
Alexus dude what are you talking about? When did she ask for her job back? Tell me. Go on her IG, go on her website, she still supports people of color so YOU sound white and ignorant. I, myself is nowhere near to being Caucasian and I am proud of it!
Why is everyone so quick to claim appropriation. This is someone who felt strongly enough about something that she was willing to change her entire life for it. She’s not making a mockery of black people she just happened to like it. I personally see it the same as being transgender. You wouldn’t ask a person who’s gone trough the trouble of changing their gender identity to tell everyone they meet their what gender they were born as, so she shouldn’t have to either. People need to just calm down and learn to except others differences.
Normal Norma - the problem here is that she profits from her lie, by being the head the the NAACP, leading black studies classes, selling African themed art, all while totally misleading people. you should be up front if you're going to do that. a male to female transgender person probably wouldn't preside over womens groups or teach womens study classes without disclosing the fact that the aren't in fact a biological woman. This woman also lies about having identified as a black person her whole life, and tell lies about her parents. she hesitates before answering direct questions because she is a dishonest person.
They were physically abusive by beating their children, and mentally abusive by locking them in a room with no food and only a Bible and a mattress on the floor to lay on, and they allowed their biological son to sexually abuse their younger daughter so I have to wonder if that happened to Rachel as well. Not to mention the years of emotional abuse as well. Read about it or you can watch the documentary that was made about her life.
It sounds to me like she imagines things, and her memory plays some weird tricks on her. It kind of sounds like a mental disorder. What do they call that? Isn’t it dysmorphia? 😯❓❓😯
She loves the culture she probably drew herself as black but her parents didn't even notice it was her...she is culturally black but not physically. ..she is not like transgender people that involves physical aspects working to be one way and cause they aren't there is a lot of dyscomfort.
2:40 reporter "are you a con artist?" Rachel "I don't think so" What the hell kind if answer is that? That's almost worse than saying yes. No wait I think it is worse than saying yes
She really put in some effort on the hair, but why not colored contacts? She seems to be a compulsive liar, but also, I don’t think she would have been accepted to those jobs and causes as a White woman. She wanted to be in the club. So strange what people do, but lying is never ok.
*She's already in it. America is nothing but a HUGE loony bin with a few sane people sprinkled throughout the place. It's very rare to fine one of them though, so don't even waste your time looking.*
