As you can see, I'm a big fella. This song, when she sang it, It brought a we bit of a tear to me eye. I am on the short end of life now with cancer heart disease, and various other ailments from toxic exposure while stationed at Fort McClellan AL. I want this song and I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy. Lord Bless you all.
This song has haunted me since the first time I heard it. I wish it sung at my funeral! I tried to find other songs Rachel has sung and found none. Heartbreaking
The first time I saw this episode. I started to cry. Reminds me of who I have lost, but gives me the strength to keep going. Thank you for such a beautiful and heartfelt song.
Beautiful... The music evokes the Medieval Warrior feeling that I believe resides in us all! It also sings of a journey that we all must one day make..
Watched this episode again and had to finally look up the song. Just added to my collection. Beautiful voice and music. Wish there were more New Age artists.
@@astrick1768 wait... there's actually hicks stupid enough to call the __Imperial_ system "freedom measurements"? I thought that was just some meme shit...
Chanson pleine d'émotions, la musicologie, instruments se marient très très bien à sa voix extraordinaire. La beau de Rachel, la musique et sa voix sont un moment magique, d'appaisement et de plaisir extrême. Ooh merciii 😌😚😘 BEYOUND THE NIGHT.
the song comes from the series The Stargate Atlantis S02E13 - "Critical Mass" 36:34 Rachel Luttrell in the role of Teyla Emmagan, the leader and warrior of the Athosian people, sings a song during the ring ceromoni
Hahaha what a coincidence😁😂😂 i just watch the episode now that tells exactly what dr. Mckay referred to on ronin and teyla(as conan and xena😂😂) i just started watching SGA this month(June 2019) hope they are still alive and well even though this series is old now😊
@@andrewbangs9073 wow just started it huh? Well hey better late than never, hope you enjoy, sg1 and sga were my life blood as an older teenager, now at almost 26 I look back fondly on those times, when I had no cable, didn't use RU-vid and just enjoyed my full DVD collection of stargate.
John...... pretty much his own thing. Rodney.....likely talking about random shit constantly. Carson.....literally sitting at conventions with a line for autographs stretching clear out to the hall because he will have a drawn out conversation with every fan that approaches him for one. Teyla......well.....if you haven't already seen.....she's enjoying life as a mother in reality and I believe is either soon to or already has released a CD.......yet I still feel this song was her best. And if memory serves.......I do believe she actually wrote it herself. Which would give far more meaning and emotional impact to the song....as it did.
@@andrewbangs9073 they all are. I think the only actor from the show to die was the Don Davis......but they ended up doing a huge tribute gesture to him that will live on as long as the show exists in any form......and will exist so long as anyone knows of the Hammond.
Just saw a Stargate Atlantis interview with Rachel Luttrell and this song was mentioned. I'm grateful for you for uploading this with the lyrics so my husband who has trouble catching lyrics can understand this as well.
Thank you to have posted and made known the so wonderful artist as is Rachel LUTRELL as actress but also with a divinely pleasant voice. She possesses an immense talent! Thanks to you Rachel for the moment of pure happiness which you offer us with this song of the series Stargate Atlantis, in a particularly moving scene(stage)
I much prefer this song at a funeral to those wailing laments This song just has a warmth to it that makes the pain of losing someone that little bit less agonising almost
After 3-1/2 years of sickness in Amer. Politics, it has taken our latest disaster to cause me to lose all hope. I once thought we were, as Americans, beacons of courage and strength, truth and compassion. Turns out we aren't. This song gives me solace when nothing else can. I grieve for America and the World.
I'd love to know what the choir is singing in this. This is a beautiful song performed by a beautiful actress with a angelic voice. Thanks for uploading.
Beautiful song. I imagine Mother Mary singing this with her chorus of angels to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the morning He came to us. The first Christmas. 🎉 Also I love all the stargate series ❤
I couldn't help referencing this song in my most recent roleplay... My character almost died but there was so much magic in the air that whn two characters started singing it, his already somewhat immortal body got reinforced and he started coming back to life. I'll comment on this once the scene finishes, we haven't completed the roleplay yet :P
Circle of life is so true for us all! After a great battle no matter how great ,. Peace usually comes around. We just need too hold on. Love Stargate Atlantis ended too soon.
Not to be rude but technically speaking you can't be "buried in space" because you wouldn't be buried, just shot out into the void, floating there until the heat death of the universe. I get the sentiment of what you said I agree it would be cool but I just wanted to clarify to be buried requires... Well burying, like digging and placing and filling back in the hole etc.
+Stevequagmire You still could faintly hear the music in the background, but yeah, i personally found it too short of a version. The cuts for the episode made this episode all the more beautiful and dramatic as well as emotional (couldn't help remembering all the characters that die "emotionally"in any of the Stargate series) but the full length is as beautiful. Bottom line, I like both :p
