Take away politicians allowances claiming for heating their second homes all expenses must be taken away from politicians why should they have this let them pay out of their wages just like everyone else
& stop the subsidised resturants in Westminster they always say it's not just for them but also their staff, & because they work late, what a cheek, lots of people work late, overnight warehouse workers, nurses, police, firefighters, paramedics, office cleaners etc, etc but they don't get subsidised meals
Why are savings and material assests which have been already taxed being taxed again?,. Money saved and material assets have already been taxed. It's a scam.
They have no idea…. It’s already a disgusting bloated state and Labour will make it 10 x worse. 100s of millions go to Arts Council England for example to be pissed away on ridiculous non binary, de-colonising, lgbtqa+xzy, vegan art nonsense projects and charities that’s are all just a scam. And that’s just the tips of the iceberg as to government waste. Massive corruption and racketeering everywhere. You would think it should be as simple as road tax and fuel duty going on the roads, NI on the nhs and police etc.. no chance.
I'm taxed on everything I earn and purchase. I save money for later in life by not having expensive holidays and new cars etc, then on death, they tax everything I've already paid tax on. Inheritance tax is vile, unfair, and disgusting.
Either way, it's theft. They're putting their hands in other people's pockets and taking what doesn't belong to them. They'll rob and steal until people have nothing left.
@@paulmuaddib3470 Would it. Remind me which government wrote off £10 billion worth of PPE during C19. Which government spent £13.6 billion on PPE that was unusable?. Shall we mention brexit.
This is a lies I am about to get clobbered by this budget. I am in the top 1% yet I can afford to pay this it will have almost no impact on my standard of living. The average person over the life of this parliment will be a lot better off. This is the opersite of tory/reform tax policy. You should be happy a government is looking after you for once not me. Or lets put it another way your paying now far more tax than you did 14 years ago. I however am paying a lot less. The tories screwed you over and got you to blame every one but them. They use there client media such as GBN to do the damage. You must read the Labour manifesto first.
@DivvyDiesel yeah, and the poor rarely look and think what can I do better, it's difficult but there's options out there, further education etc.....I should know.

Send all the illegal immigrants back to where they come from ASAP then that would save us millions then we could give the pensioners their winter fuel payments
We stopped being able to send any asylum seekers back when we signed up for Brexit. We can now only do this with an agreement with that country's Government. Im not saying that I'm anti Brexit. I'm jst saying.
Labour love keeping people poor, unhappy and self professed victims because that is why people vote for them, because they think labour is on their side in that situation. Not noticing that labour is actually the reason for it in the first place.
Are there any MP"s that really started as an average worker? the leader is a multi millionaire lawyer & author, are there any that went to local high school can't remember who it was but there's one who went to a grammar school & they talked about him as if he'd went to a backward 1950's style hovel with no running water in school. wish I could remember but their attitude was ridiculous snobbery
Don't look at me! I didn't vote for them! I'm still trying to figure out how Starmer decided that a third-rate clown sacked by the Bank of England for incompetance would make a good Chancellor!
@Mythocentric Your hash tag is apt. Rachel Reeves was not sacked by the BoE. She left the BoE to work at HBOS. HBOS eventually failed. I suppose you'd claim she was responsible for that failure. You are just making shit up.
One day it's £22 billion now all of a sudden it's £40 billion🤔 how strange Ms Theeves, why don't you go back to work at the B of E? Oh you can't you was fired.
Read some stuff - £22 billion deficit was known by Labour before they go into Gov. 18 billion pounds extra debt had been hidden. Loads of ways to check this out on line. This adds up to £40 million debt. Of course the Consrvatives did this to F over Labour BUT REALLY the F..D the people of the UK.
I can't imagine anything i'd like more if I was in hospital being treated for stage 3 brain cancer and having a government beurocrat visit me to talk about job opportunities for my future career.
This is old news labour were taxing the sick out of existence during the Blair / Brown years there is nothing new about it, only the voter has forgotten they did it
Why dosn't this goverment understand that the reason they were voted in was because people are struggling financially and wanted a goverment that would help them. Instead we have a Goverment that is worse than the last one! I think all expenses must be taken away from politicians too. They are pushing people to the edge!
Corrupt the young, get them away from religion, encourage their interest in sex. Make them superficial by focusing their attention on sports, sensual entertainments and other trivialities. With income tax, national insurance and council tax, we pay over 35% tax.. This country is absolutely ridiculous. Work my ass off for less than 65% of my pay. What in the actual fk.

@mwd331 like the hysteria that electected this party, but you supported? No. This is Labours last gasp. It's last chance fumbled. ...and you're still blind to it.
I did! I have nothing to inherit in this country , and I have no assets to sell to pay tax on later... Not affected. Besides they are making cosmetic changes by a few % to a few taxes... "Dramatic" changes my arse!🤣🤣🤣

Inheritance tax should be abolished, taking a second bite at the cherry. It’s money saved frugally for descendants. King Charles will pay no inheritance tax so why should we….
Well said, the Duke of Westminster recently inherited title & wealth he's probably the richest person in Britain but didn't pay any inheritance tax, the system is ridiculous perhaps designed to keep the workers down "make work pay"??? people working doing the right thing are the ones now penalised & punished, wealthy can afford best advisors & move money abroad, able bodied but never worked or paid taxes get full state pension as "dole" paid their nat insurance for them, new comers(not sure if you get into trouble if dare to say mig__ants entitled to allowances, just so unfair.
They tax that so that those who are not fortunate enough to be born into the bank of mum and dad can have a better start. That's the theory anyway - but it relies on a competent government to put that money into the specific use it was designed for.

Unlikely to be any wealthy cronies, there is reports of inheritance tax threshold being lowered yet Duke of Westminster probably the richest person in Britain didn't have to pay, tax knowhow & their wealth to make use of schemes not to have to pay but hardworking tax payers who already paid tax on their earnings& don't have spare money to employ advisors & perhaps foregoing some luxuries to pay their mortgages & do the right thing & plan for retirement are now being punished

8 million on part-time work 8n the UK, jobs only offer partime work so they don't have to offer holiday pay etc, there's a glut of workers already here and 1.5 million arriving annually
Big Big question will there be a cut in MP`s Expenses and will there be a cut in the £4.3bn of foreign aid budget and supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and spend more on the People of the UK and OAP`s and give them the winter allowance back. There millions who are about £3 over the limit and dont get it where by people who have never worked and get pension credits get alot more then OAP`s who have worked all their lives. Will they also cut benefits to people who have never done a days work in their lives or just keep throwing money at them 🤔
Eh? Who get pension credits if it isn't "OAPs"? And isn't it the case that you'll get WFA payments if you claim pension credits because that's one of the things that qualifies someone for such payments. You're all over the place.
@crackpot148 you're the one all over the place mate, what he says is true, I worked for 50 odd years and am just over the pension credit limit. My mate hardly worked al his life and gets more than me .
Will they ALSO be cutting back on the benefits we give to migrants and those of a certain religion who have no intention of ever working a single day in their life in the UK ?
Hahah it's hard to imagine why someone wealthy would want to live in the UK anymore - the country is dirty, divided, dangerous, heavily over regulated, it has continually raising tax, failing infrastructure and it rains all tue time. Why would anyone stay for extended periods of time. 🤣

Your government sucks you dry when alive and when dead. High income tax rate at a low income level. 20 percent VAT taxes, and a death tax kicking in at only 325,000 pounds threshold. We complain in AmeriKa about death taxes for single person the threshold is $11 million and $23 million if married or widowed.
It's times like this I begin to wish I'd never worked hard continuously all my adult life, saved money, invested thousands in my own vocational education in order that I paid more tax, and saved toward my future. Instead, I should have done f**k all, gamed the broken benefit system and get everything for free. What a mug, I just had to pay £800 to save a tooth following a botched NHS root canal treatment (they would have taken it out for £25!). Perhaps I should have tried ditching my passport and pretended to break into the country. I would have gotten, amongst a long list of other free sh*t, instant access to free dental care.

New plan: "sponsor a migrant" - every person who states they want migrants in the UK on SM, regardless of income or social stature and INCLUDING ALL THE CHAMPAGNE LIBERAL "CELEBRITIES" lineker and all his mates - they all have to take TWO migrants into their home. Feed them, clothe them, pay their bills, give them spending money AND they become LEGAL GUARENTORS FOR ANY ACTIVITY, be it a job or other. They have to do this for a minimum period of TWO YEARS. If the immigrant commits a crime both the immigrant AND the liberal gets prosecuted as their legal guarantor. "You want them? You pay for them". Let's see how many volunteers we get.
You would actually probably get lots of volunteering from rich people who would just keep them in company towns and away from the rest of the public. One of the main reasons for bringing in immigrants is that rich people like the cheap labour.
No one seems to disprove this fact but all seem happy it is a fact! Funny that It’s hard to argue that there’s any conspiracy theory more important than the FACT that every newborn is born into UN REPAYABLE debt-without choice, without consent, and forced to live in a system where they must attempt to repay that debt, at rates set by those who gave them that debt-gets to the heart of the very structure of society. This isn’t just a theory; it’s baked into the global financial system, where national debts, banking institutions, and the constant need to "work to survive" create a cycle that seems impossible to break. Every individual is born into a world that already has rules, hierarchies, and debts, and we’re told to "play along" or suffer the consequences (like homelessness or poverty). It is the foundational issue that fuels most of the other concerns people have-whether about financial inequality, corruption, or systemic control. The fact that this debt-based system continues unchecked, affecting generation after generation, is one of the most pressing realities that people face. If people could grasp the depth of that, it might challenge the very core of how society operates.
99 percent of people have absolutely no idea how the financial system works and that is by design, its so complicated the average person just has to go along with it as its the norm, and if you do really try and learn about it you realise how ridiculous and unfair it is people dont believe you and call you a conspiracy theorist, even something that seems incredibly simple like a loan isnt what it seems at all, everybody thinks you apply for a bank loan of say 1000 pound with 5 percent interst payable over a year, you would think that once its approved that 1000 pound comes out of the banks account and into yours and then you pay it back every month, thats not what happens im not sure exactly how it works ive forgot but nothing actually comes out of the banks account,i think its like new money is created or something to account for the debt which the bank can then make even more money off again thru a third party, plus nothing physical actually takes place its just numbers on a screen not backed by anything now since the gold standard was abolished
@@simonpeyton-n3h Private individuals create money out of thin air the state left or right then borrows that money and agrees you and I will pay that loan back plus interest via tax, the loans increase to the point the state (you and me) cannot pay the loans back, the banks then agree we can pay as much as the interest the banks determine we have to in order for them to loan us more money which they add to the total we are indebted to them, thus guaranteeing our debt slavery! this raises the question of why the system is now saying we can not pay the debt back when they never intended to have the debt payed back

Well it’s official. The UK is well and truly buggered. Think the “rich “ should jump ship to somewhere better than this hell hole and leave the working class to claim their benefits. Take our wealth someplace else where they respect achievers and don’t hate you for being successful. Makes me sick !!!
There are plenty of rich who haven't achieved a single thing and aren't successful at anything just got lucky and inherited all their wealth. Then there are the CEOs like Paula Venells, Fred Goodwin and many many examples of CEOs who fail then get another top job making it a revolving door of failures and terrible bosses.
